They called my cell twice, while I was at work.  I called back the unfamiliar number and the recording said it was a non-working number!

This is a company called DME Automotive, they say they are supposed to leave a message the first time they call. They never left a message. They conduct surveys for Auto Dealerships on the quality of their service.

I have not bought a car, nor have I visited any dealership and yet I this number called me. My number is on the DO NOT CALL list. So I am reporting them. I have had my number for two years so they can't claim its an old number from someone else.

follow up call for visit to car dealership. Don't need to be called after already explaining reasoning to dealership themselves.

They've called 2 days in a row now, and do not leave a voicemail message.  I won't answer since I don't know the number or why they are calling my cell phone.

This number calls me in the morning ,the afternoon and evening non stop has been calling for at least a week now.

I cancelled my land line because of these annoying calls and now they call me on my cell.

Same as the rest of everyone....  Call non stop, hang up when I answer, never leave a message.

I get calls from these a**holes. Funny thing they started calling my cell phone...After I gave my cell phone number to a friend on my hardline phone.
They must be apart of the big brother network listening to all our calls.

Telephone Communications people reveal how our own OPS have cut the telephone cables, put splitters on them and ran the cable through a super computer, and all the operators do is listen to peoples conversations, and real time computer operations. probably reading this right now.
They have these so called dark rooms located all over the united states.
REPEAL THE PATRIOT ACT !
Make it legal to sue telecommunication company's again.

They call me non stop everyday and there is nobody there.

When I called them back they said that it would take up to 30 days to be on their do no call list.

They are calling me non-stop too.  I don't answer numbers I don't know and they never leave a message.  I blocked my number and called it back to see who it was... to my shock and surprise, they knew what number I was calling from anyway because they repeated my number and asked if that was the number I was called on!!!!!  I hung up.  

Please let me know who these people are if you know.

I'm getting the same thing. They've been calling me for a couple days now. I answer and no one is there. The call just ended this last time.

What is this, they will not stop calling. It's been about 4 days and they call more then once a day.

This number calls at least 2-3 times a day and doesn't leave a message at all. Just a hang up tone in our voicebox.

Why are they calling the time if they don't leave a message anyway?

Weird thing is my phone recorded message asked that telemarketers take our number off the list...and they still call each day. Go figure.

I just called the number and was told they were calling me on behalf of the car dealership that I bought a used car from a few years ago.  They were supposedly interested in buying it back from me because people were looking for that particular model and it was "easier" for them to get it from other owners than from autions or wholesalers and I would probably get more than I expected for it.  So that sounds pretty fake and it was basically just a way to get me to go shopping for another car as I trade mine in.

Ok.... since no one else has called to find out who this number belongs to here it is.... it is a customer service company calling on behalf of dealerships to encourage service work done to your vehicle. All you have to do is tell them to remove your phone number from the call list... they will verify it which number you want removed and advise they will start the process it normally takes 12-24 hrs but they legally have to state it could take up to 30 days. They are very nice and it is a very simple process... Good luck to you all

Just started getting calls from these people.  Leaves no message

Got a call from this number a couple times. Finally picked up the second time. A recording said, "Please hold while we connect you to your party. Please hold. Please hold. Thank you." then hung up... I was worried at first, but when I called back it was the survey company that the past posts have mentioned. I answered the questions about the dealership I just recently visited. After asking, the lady on the phone said that this was a one time call. That I should not be getting any more calls. Guess it's just another way for the dealerships to assess their sales personnel.

They've called me for the past three days during the 9:00am hour and in the evening after I got home from work. I answered the morning calls, but they hung up after four and five seconds. In the evening, they didn't leave a message (the phone was in my bag, so I didn't hear it ring).

i get a call from them daily, sometimes twice. I have tried not answering and it goes to the ans. machine and they hang up. when i answer it, they don't talk. its a pain

You can block those numbers from your phone.  Call your phone company for the correct way to block.   this is the 3rd such number I have had to block.   All from the same place just different numbers.

I have repeatedly received calls from the above number and know one will talk on the other end of the line when I answer my cell phone

I have not bought anything in a long time I'm broke so why are they calling me???

This 800 number is a customer service company. They call to survey your experience from different companies that you have visited. In my case it was regarding a car dealership I went to over the weekend. They wanted to know about the sales rep.

You know, it wasn't that bad. I just called them back and it took me less than a minute to answer their questions. Yes the constant calling was annoying but that's over with now.

I worked for a similar company that did research surveys and since they aren't selling anything I believe they were exempt from the No Call Lists. They had their own that consumers could request to be put on but the National and State No Call lists didn't apply to them. It's a sneaky way to call people but it's how the system works.

I say give the workers a break and if you have the time answer the questions...

I get never ending calls from this number several times day and at all hours. I finally was able to talk to someone. Maria answered and asked, "We are a consumer service and for For quality Control Purposes, what is your telephone number so I can direct your call to the company that wanted you contacted. I replied that I am on the "Do not call list". She stated that her company has hundreds of companies as clients and I must have given my number to one of those companies. I stated that I wanted my number removed from their list and she went through that process with me. I complained to her about the hours of the calls. I said that I get calls at 7AM (in reality its 8am) and she came back with that that was impossible because no one is in the office before 8.
