I recieved a message asking me to call back about important information.  I called back and the person answered with their name and "business office".  I asked business office for what company?  He stated that they called for several different medical facilities.  He asked me for my account number to which I replied "how would I give you my account number if you didn't tell me which medical facility you are representing."  He proceeded to ask me for my phone number and told me I "wasn't in their system."  I said him I had to be if they called me.  Then he asked if I was seen at any of the several hospitals they represent.  I said yes, more than one - he wanted to know which ones.  I told him I didn't feel comfortable giving him information - that if they were calling me, they should have my information.  He then hung up on me.  This is definitely a scam and I will be reporting it.

I just called Geisinger and 800-900-1375 is indeed a legitimate third party vendor that makes collections calls for them.  They were calling for my daughter who had been living with us.

800-900-1375 was on my called ID, but they did not leave a message. I called this number from a phone that was not at my house. A woman answered immediately and she just said "business office" and I said what company is this? She said that it depends on what number was called. I asked again and she said that she needed the phone number. I said I am not giving you my phone number and she basically said "OK" and hung up.

a computer generaated call which puts you on hold for a representative once you answer it.  The live rep asks for verification of your id.  When I wouldn't give it asked who they were, they said "have a nice day" and hung up.

It's a debt collector for medical related bills.

Received a call around 6:30 PM on Monday, 4 June.  Person said that it was the Hertiage Valley Business Office.  Was informed we owed them 21.85 from a past due account since February.  The lady wanted my credit card number to pay for the charges.  The 1 800 900 number just did not sound right.  When I refused to give them my CC number they ask me to send a check to a PO Box in Dallas.  I knew something must be wrong because Hertiage Valley Medical group is  here in Pittsburgh.

"Hello I'm calling about important personal business. Please call me back as soon as possible at the following number 8009001375. Thank you. Goodbye."

I got this call again today.....I called them back and I told them I know they are a scam....since I have already talked to the people that I supposedly owed money to and I don't....just be careful .....No personal info given out over the phone!!!!....One thing that irritates me however....I called the place that this number is supposed to represent to report this and they were like playing dumb that they have never heard of this scam .....well according to posts on this site they do know about it cause others have reported it to them....personally I don't care if you don't want to do anything about it....it's your name not mine ....but being a large PA. health center you would think you would want to do everything you could to shut them down....just saying.

I JUST got this call, it said it was an Important Personal Call, Please call back at blah blah blah. NOT calling, just leaving it go.

LOL- just received a call from this number, from someone claiming to be from the business office of Geisinger Health Systems.  She claimed I have a 'past due' balance of $31 from a Sept. 7th visit (remember that date) and wondered if I'd like to 'clear that up today'.  I told her that we pay all of our Geisinger bills when we receive them in the mail, and she THEN claimed that they've had this in their office since August, and since it is in collection status that it would be in my best interest to take care of it today.  I laughed and told her that it was impossible for her to have it in her office since August, if the balance was from a September visit.  She stuttered and stammered for a few seconds until I laughed again and said "Nice try- thanks for calling." and hung up on her.  It's a scam.  PLEASE don't fall for it.

Called it & they said they are from the Business Dept. of Heritage Valley. In my state, PA, Heritage Valley is a medical & hospital services group in Western PA. So this is probably related to their collections department.

Just got a call from this number.  When I answered there was a recorded message telling me to hold for an important business call.  After about a minute the line was disconnected.  Never found out who it was.

I keep receiving a message that "this is an important business call, please call 800-900-1375"  No name on whom they are calling, nothing on what it is about.  Laws in this state say that this is illegal.  Whether it be telemarketing, or bill collection.  Automated calls are prohibited.  They must have an opt-out for telemarketing.  And bill collection agencies MUST state who they are calling for, who they are, and that it is an attempt to collect a debt.  This being said, this company is breaking all of the laws on the books.  I left them a message just giving my phone number and telling them that their calls are illegal.  I refuse to leave my name, or any information as they did not give me any information.  I called exactly 60 seconds after they left me a message and their voicemail stated that it was after business hours.  It was exactly 9:00 pm when they called me.  I am getting tired of these calls all day every day.  Enough is enough.

I had the same thing happen at 8:35 am.  Ridiculous!  The phone answers and a computer says to "hold for important business info".  So I held for almost 2 minutes.  Then a woman came on and said "sorry, this call was made in error".  I said "so you kept me on hold for TWO minutes just to tell me the call was made in error?" and then she said "Megan (our last name) was supposed to call 800-900-1375".  And I said "for what?" and she said "I don't know, she is just supposed to call.".  And I said, "first you tell me the call is in error, THEN you tell me my daughter is supposed to call someone, but you don't know why."  She said "well..." and I said "sorry, you're completely confused me now and I'm hanging up."  So I did.  They didn't call back.  Yet...

I received a phone call from 18009001375 and talked to someone who said that my son's account was overdue, which I know isn't, I didn't give them any information. I called the Geisinger customer service number that I found on their website (1-800-640-4206); I was told that I didn't have a balance. If you get a call from this number, you should start by calling Geisinger and reporting it, internal affairs will look into it on a case by case basis.

This is the second time I got a VM stating that this is an important call and to call back.  So I called this number and got transfer to "Cody" and was transferred into VM.  I left her a message stating that I got an important call and I am calling back.  I did not leave my name or number since they are not leaving me any more info. If this was important, then they should leave me more info but I think it?s just a scam.  Maybe one of us will figure out what this number is pertaining to.

I received the same call 2x and also called back and get the voice mail.  I just called Geisinger and spoke to someone there and reported it.  They do not have the #800-900-1375 in their system.  They are going to look into it, so it is a safe bet that it is someone calling and hoping you will call them back and let your personal info on their voice mail.

Nothing is more irritating than getting a phone call that immediately puts you on hold, then a voice answers, not knowing why you were called and then transferred to voice mail!!!  What a waste of time!
