SCAM.   Idiots.  My 2014 car has only 400 miles on it and they tell me it needs service.  They chocked up when I pressed questions as to who they were.   Where is the 800 Do Not Call list.  It's useless to have such 'consumer protection' if NOBODY polices it.  Call your politicians and put some teeth into this law!

Many, many more calls from them in my Google Voice spam folder. I'll be letting the dealership know of my disgust.

Fools called here today. This is why I have the car dealer my Google Voice number. They're now blocked and will get a disconnected number notice every time they try to bug me in the future.

I just received a call from this number.  Since I did not know who it was, I let it go to voice mail.  They said they were calling because my new vehicle was due for maintenance and to call another number to schedule it.  The thing was, the vehicle was already at the dealership getting looked at when I got that call.

These people called and left a message saying they were calling on behalf of a automobile dealer I recently bought a car from. They will call again later. Keep calling and all you will get is the answering machine.

Aspen Marketing told me that they were "hired" by my selling dealership of my new car, to schedule service appt's for them.  Since I answered the phone and have a clearly female voice, and they asked for Mr. My Last Name, and I purchased the vehicle in my name alone, I knew they were in fact not calling from my selling dealership, and asked them who they REALLY were....That is when i got the answer... ASPEN MARKETING.  The female rep got a little tongue tied but resumed her spiel....

I then had the fun of telling her that since the General Manager was my...wait for it..... BOYFRIEND, I was pretty certain all my service appointments were being taken care of to my satisfaction and to please remove my name and number from their database.

Your selling dealership is the ONLY place you should buy an extended warranty, folks.  These companies obtain PUBLIC INFORMATION FROM THE STATE WHERE YOUR VEHICLE IS LICENSED.  it provides them your info, your car's info and the selling dealer info!  They sell cut rate coverage that is not going to protect your financial interest or your car's good 'health'.  Do not buy from them, do not respond to the little post cards that tell you your warranty is about to expire (they love to send these to little old folks too which is just so devious).  When you have a question, call your dealership, call your sales person.  Don't fall for the scams.

Your dealership has had to fight too hard to stay in business these last 6 years.  They pay BIG bucks for that fancy lighted brand sign on the dealer property.  They need to represent that brand in a bright honest light or they may have the franchise YANKED away from them.  They will answer your questions and only sell you quality coverages because they want you to come back in 5 years and buy another car from them which will not happen if they sell you a worthless piece of paper that says WARRANTY.

Hopefully, one person benefits from this post.  I am sick to death of people and companies preying on the uninformed.
