They called, India accent, That was my clue to hang up.

An Angela called asking for someone. When I first answered all you could hear in the background was chatter, that was my first sign it was a telemarketer. I could barely understand what she was saying, it sounded like she had cotton balls in her mouth, I had her repeat the name she was asking for like 3 times and I said no one was here by that name. She then asked for my name, which I know is so when they call back they have an actual real name to ask for, I asked what it was regarding and she kept blabbing so I hung up.

So I'm not crazy. I worked there at the Broadway office for 3 days (Feb 25-27) and was surprised when the place was locked up when I returned to pick up my pay check. I have not received anything by mail and my attempts to contact the business have been fruitless.

My sympathies to all those who were not justly compensated for their time. It's a terrible feeling to feel like you worked your hardest and have been taken advantage of, especially when so many of us were struggling to make ends meet. I was even offered a full time position before I quit, glad I didn't take it now.

The calls are from people at Mygenonline LLC  based in Mesa Arizona a group that say they will set you up with a website which you will make money through links of companies such as Walmart,etc.
I went for it unfortunately and got scammed good. Myenonline LLC filed an article of termination on 03/13/12, You can Google it and check it out for yourselves. Be sure if you Google it to use the "LLC" with Mygenonline because there is another name like that.
Congratulations to you all for not falling for the scam like I did. I was really looking for an online business to work.

Mygen terminated half their employees (technically, self-employed) on 2012 March 2 Friday.

On 2012 March 12 Monday, the remaining non-management "employees" arrived to the office only to find the company's front door locked.  Peering in through the windows, they saw that the entire office was empty.  Vacated.

As of today, more than 2 weeks afterward, of the final group of non-management employees, not one of them has yet received his/her final paycheck, not even via US Postal Service.  We think we will probably never get our checks.  We have thought about doing a class-action lawsuit, but will likely just be merciful to the former owner.

The company had been struggling since the end of 2011.  It's always sad when a company fails.  It is sobering to know that my former coworkers (myself included) suddenly had to scrap to survive.  I also wish the best to our clients, because, as a caller from the sales floor, I never saw the back end of the business, so I don't know anything about how our clients may or may not be able to continue their businesses.  Mostly, these were affiliate programs reselling large retailers like Amazon.com and GoDaddy.com.  I hope they are ok.

I hope our former owner is ok.  I forgive him.  God knows that I am not perfect.  This life is not the end-all; it is temporal; this life is the limbo.  Heaven and hell are real.  Jesus Christ is the way, the truth and the life.  I hope to see our former owner Phil in heaven someday.  I hope he reads this.

I keep getting calls from this number, no message and nothing when i answer

i have been recieving phone calls for two weeks now from a variety of numbers, one being 877-853-7287, and now, 1800-233-4253, both of which i can't call back, the first one i can;t call cause i am in canada, so why can they call me, but i can't call them back? I talked to one guy and he was really rude to me, so even if it was legitamate business i would never deal with him

just got a call from this number. It's 10:30pm!! Who ever this telemarketer is, this is far too late to be calling me! I picked up the phone to give a piece of my mind but the hung up!

they called me this morning and asked if I was looking for online work and then gave me this line about how they were going to build me this website free of charge bullsh-t it is going to cost some were

they want to talk and they want to set up a web page for you bullsh_t free of charge it cost some were they arent going to do in for free and they all ways seem to call either at supper time or when you are right in the middle on some thing and they never take no for a answer

Upon calling, it was a representative from GoDaddy, supposedly. The number is attached to other fake companies.

From 877-853-7287, They called me several time in this week. At last I talked to a person, and he asked me "Are you looking for working at home job.

every friggin day, same number, lets it ring, hangs up.

I have received 3 calls today from this number with no one speaking at the other end.

these people are very frustrating and secretive. I have had the same number for 25 yrs. I have good credit. I suspect its a scam to send them money for nothing!

If you got Blackberry install "CallBlockerLite" and put the number in the Black List.
That's what I did.

I wish you would teach us all how to do that so that they would leave us all alone for good!

This is a collection agency who has a very old database of numbers.  They where harassing me until I found their company info, called the company, emailed them and finally a manager called me back (after filing a complaint with the BBB).  Call their bluff, Better Business Bureau.

They keep calling me too and im from canada. So i just block them on my phone so they cant call me again. They SUCKS

If that is ricks Number had  calling numbers in Canada, If you are going to call Canada it makes us very angry when we try to the number that called us or the customer service number when we get a message stating the toll free number we are calling does not accedpt calls from |Canada, therefore that leave me option than to report you to all the agencies around the world that takes complaints about companies that harrass companys, I am also going to try to contact Interpol to see if they can give me advise about this and will give your numbers to all the authorities I contact

These calls have been going on for weeks (yes I've been on the NO CALL Registry since it started)  The calls start at 8AM and get probabably 4 a day. There is never a message because they hang up after the 2nd ring.  Maybe they get paid by numbers called and harrassed and not actually answered. It is VERY annoying.  All my phone service offers is "put call straight to voice mail", but the the darn phone STILL beats me to let me know a call came in, regardless of length or msg.
According to the news did anyone else hear that telemarketers are going to have to have a SIGNED form by the phone owner in order to call that number???  Of course, the didn't say if it would happen in our lifetime!

I was finally able to track down a valid number to these folks and got to talk to someone that sounded shaken up when I Iet this individual know that I've compiled all the calls with timestamps and that even a mediocre IT specialist like myself was able to track them down and even hack into their internal network.  To prove it I spammed them with a boatload of posts from this forum while on the phone.  I also provided the information I obtained to the proper authorities.  Maybe this should put a damper on future calls.

MyGenOnline called twice today. I told them the first time to take me off the list, as it was a real person who called. The second time it was a robot call, and I left a message telling them I'll report them to the Do Not Call Registry. If enough people report them, it can result in law enforcement action.

This number calls me about 3 times a day, never leaves a message its driving me crazy now! so tired of it, please try to get rid of this!!!!

HOW DO I REPORT THIS?! I HATE THESE CALLS!
