Someone from that same number has been calling me..their id comes up "unknown number". They leave messages telling me that I "must" call them back and that they "expect" to hear from me by the end of the day. I called them and got a woman of foreign descent named "Rose". She asked for my file number and I told her that before I started a conversation with her, I wanted to know what company she was with. She identified her company as "UCB"..I asked her what that was and her response was that she couldn't tell me until I gave her my file number. I told her I don't hold conversations with anyone who won't identify themselves first and hung up. I looked up "UCB" on the internet..it's a collection bureau (as you might imagine). I did see several other postings where people had negative things to say. For more info, google "UCB" and "collection".

I called the number back and it is a collection agency collecting on a medical bill I have not paid. The name of the collection company is United Collection Bureau. They were collecting for a Laboratory / Pathology company.

Automated message asking me to call back with a reference number...says "whoever" calls back should use reference number when they call.  They don't identify themselves as a collection agency, there is no information on the caller id (not even a phone #).  Makes me VERY curious, but not enough to call back - does not sound legit.  Shouldn't it only be ME that calls back, and if it was a "collection" account that I am unaware of, don't they have to identify themselves as that legally?  The 800 # is simply the number they leave for me to call back, not on caller id.  Nothing comes up in reverse phone look up for this number.

yeah he keeps calling me and leaving messages trying to sound intimidating saying MARK YOU NEED TO CALL ME... saying he has a file he needs to talk about... idk but not going to answer.

went to the Better Business Bureau  and they gave them a F grade and that is not good had a lot of complaints about them
