I don't have a "Citicard" When they call people that don't do business with City Bank they make themselves look suspicious. They need to monitor their "Robo call" computer better.

had 2 missed calls on my cell from 800-950-5114... no message, called and said they were from CITI, and needed last 4 #s of CC to llok up account or my full SSN, gave them my name instead and still wanted more info, same story from a " supervisor ", would not tell me why they had called, hung up and called # on my CITI CC and they confirmed it was a fegit # for CITI ... BUT they showed no reason why CITI would call me, account looked fine and I confirmed last few charges.... weird.. something wrong... they were hacked???? whatever... never give out info, they called me, they should know what's what

This phone number is listed on citi.com as a contact number. I logged in to my account and got a warning about possible fraudulent charges telling me to call this number. This was within my secure citicards.com account.

I called, and it's a legitimate number. They were able to tell me my last charges on that card, and once we were done, the red fraud alert on citicards.com was gone. So either this is a legitimate number, or the scammers have completely hacked citicards.com and their fraud detection system, in which case we're all screwed anyway.

Received call on mobile phone only without message. Caller ID showed: Unknown Tel #: 800-950-5114 We have 4 Citi cards in household, number isn't listed on either one. DO NOT give your correct credit card number or social security to any other number other than the Tel # on back of your card. This is most likely a phishing scheme, DO NOT even give partial information, they may have phished a partial from another source! This type of activity must be reported to Federal Government. Citi Cards explains clearly that a message will be left on all outgoing calls except in the case of Voice Messages Full.

Got a call from 800-950-5114 and did not pick up. Caller ID was Citi Cards. I don't have one. No message. Blocked #.

I just called Citibank to check both my personal and business cards. I had no problems. But note, they said they DID NOT CALL ME.

I was incorrect a few moments ago when I indicated that this number was a scam. It is NOT. I opened up my account on line and noticed a sentence in bright red reading Contact Customer Service immediately to avoid transaction interruptions at 1-800-950-5114. I called 866-775-0556 which is the number on the statement instead. The contact at Citi confirmed that the call to my cell AND the number on my updated statement were correct. Apparently someone hacked into my account and ran up a one time charge of $180 at a Wal-Mart somewhere. The card was immediately cancelled and a new one shourd reach me in less that a week.

It was very suspicious at first, but I got to the bottom of it and it turns out to be legit. It's worth it to investigate and call citibank to clarify and avoid paying unnecessary charges but not acting up on time.
Scary experience, but I can relax now.

I called CITI with the number on the back of my Citi Credit Card. They told me they have no record of this number as a valid CITI Bank Credit Card number. The number that called was 740-834-4000. I called back and they told me to call this number. They alsso have no record of the 740-834-4000 number being a valid Citi Bank Number. Be careful of both the numbers.

"Citibank Anti-Fraud" Department called me and left the number 1-800-950-5114 on a message for me to call back. BUT, they called from the following number: 1-855-701-6943. The phone number is the National Rifle Association. Since I haven't used my citibank card in years (reflected on my monthly statements), I did not call either number. If they catch me on the phone, I just tell them to send me their issue through the mail and I'll read it. They have never sent me anything. This happens all the time. They try to get personal info from me. I don't give them any. Actually, John Smith isn't even my real name.

I received a text message saying, 'Citi Cards Fraud Dept needs to speak with you about activity on your acct.  Please call 8009505114 ASAP".  Instead, I called the # on the back of my credit card and they transferred me to the fraud dept, who said they were NOT trying to get in touch with me.  They also said they would NEVER send a text message in a real fraud situation.

So even if the # is legit (though I still don't trust it), someone is using it nefariously!

LEGIT! Got a phone call from 800 - 950 5114, my credit card number was stolen and a few transactions were made, the bank suspected it and BOOM , great job Citi Card :)

I just returned a call from this number, and the first question asked was "whats your credit card number?"

This is a legit Citicard Fraud department number. I was suspicious so I logged into my citibank account online and saw my acct was flagged. I emailed Customer Service about the flag and they emailed me back to let me know they needed to verify information with me due to address changes made to my account and were checking for fraud and instructed me to call their fraud department - the number they provided was the same as this one. I called and cleared everything up.  So yes, this is legit!

Legit call from Citicards to confirm my Internet enrollment in auto-pay.

It is a fake citi number. Be careful your personal info, do not give them your real data.

Legit message from Citi notifying me of enrollment in auto-pay which I had signed up through the web site about a week prior.

I received a text from this number and it said it was from Citi Card Theft Department.  I called the regular customer service number and they showed no text that they sent.  They said they would reference the last 4 digits of your credit number if it was them.  Beware!

This is a legitimate CitiCards phone #.  I have called it to talk to them.
