This number calls me and I'm trained in the army in counter intelligence... So I sold him a cookie for 50k. Dumb minded scammers.

Just got a call from them AGAIN.  Said I'd been entered into a drawing for $25000.
I told them to stop calling me.
The company is CRC out of Melbourne, FL and obviously a Telemarketing company.
They sound like complete scammers.

866-250-2650 just called my cellphone.
since i;m in front of computer, i starts googling this number and i find this website.
now i know this number is from a scammer.

I have been receiving calls from this number several times a day for several weeks.  I have not answered it as I do not know this number and a voicemail is never left.  It is annoying and I would like it to stop. Any ideas on how to accomplish this?

call this number and register you phone number with the national do not call list it takes about a month to filter through all telemarketers but after that they are not allowed to call according to the federal trade commission. if they do call you after 31 days call the number back and you will be able to file a formal complaint. the number is 18883821222

a lady just called me from this number. She said she is calling from florida and I am entitled to win a sweeptakes bla bla bla...
and she asked my dob and I answered, "well you have my name and my number you must know my dob."
then she answered back," have a good holiday."

Yes they keep hanging up as soon as I pick up the phone

SCAM is what it is.
I get the similar things like other people. Free magazine(or cheap magazines), and a chance to win $25,000.
How they know my name and phone nuammber? I don't know.
My guess is that they have some hackers gathering some low-level info from the websites and ultimately scam you a big time.
do NOT give out any information.
I got a call from the same number from different caller twice and they all wanted the same thing.
Next time you get a call from this number, say you're not that person that they're looking for.

dont pick up or listen to these people.. i am in a mess with them..they took money out of my bank...

I've read about this # and all the situations that are occurring to the others is happening to me. Same deal this # calls I pick up and always something new going on with them also never leave a message which is really annoying. Hopefully this can help and I would encourage everyone to report this bogus #.

I called it back and it was a fax.  I faxed them and told them to stop calling my cell.  The software I used showed that the number came from BankOfAmerica Kansas City.

I answered to this number this morning.  The guy talking told me I had been chosen to be included in a drawing because of my Visa or Mastercard credit card.  He said he was from a company named CRC.  He was going to send me a free watch and magazines as well as enroll me in a couple other magazine subscriptions which I was never asked if I wanted and would end up having to pay for.  He knew my address, telephone number and other stuff I don't know how or why he would know.  Sounds like a scam to me.  When I told him I didn't want to be included, he got all pissed and hung up.

They call me and call me and when i answer they hang up.  I tried calling back and it sounds like a fax or nothing at all.

OMG this is crazy. I have no idea how these people got my number, but they are blowing up my phone.

How can I make this stop

The person who responds is obviously a telemarketer. He opened with, "Hi, I'm calling long distance from Florida. I'd like to let you know that you've been entered in a grand prize drawing for $25,000 in cash. This is because you have one of the following credit cards: Visa, Master Card, American Express or Discover. Obviously, there will only be one winner so best of luck to you. Let's complete the survey. Are you between the ages of 21 and 69?" This is where I explained that my cell phone was very fuzzy and couldn't hear him. He spoke with an American accent.

Obviously I don't need to explain how ridiculously hokey this sounds. I mean they named the four major credit card companies in the US, which I believe the majority of Americans would have one of them. Sounds like they're gathering market data. Don't bother, but be careful about the info you give out.

Omg i keep my phone on vibrate during school and for the last 3 days they have called me. the first time during 8th hour, the second time during 7th hour, and today during 6th hour...whenever i call them back after school it just sounds like a fax...how do i get them to stop calling?? cause it gets annoying and one of these times im gonna forget to turn my phone on vibrate and im gonna get in trouble...

I have been called by this number at least 13 times.  They ask for Jenny every time. I have told them no Jenny has this number and to please quit calling.  This does not work.  The last time five minutes ago I ask for a manager.  I got one called Anthony. I asked for the name of the company and he said it was Community Reader.  He then proceeded to be very rude and would not stop.  I have asked for these people and organization to stop calling. W2D2

I have received a call from this number for awhile so I called back and it's a fax number. Then I waited for them to call again it is a woman who says that you have been selected for a $1000 loaded debit card. She asks if you use one of the following Visa Master card and a few more. Then she will ask if you are 21 or over. If not she will say we will change your information. I have not received call from them over two weeks.

Keep getting phone calls from 866 250 2650 they leave no voicemail I try to call back but goes directly to a fax machine. Who is this does anyone know???

I've got several phone calls from them for the last two weeks. I never picked up the phone (my cell phone), until last Saturday. They guy said he was calling from Florida, long distance, and if I could hear him well. He wanted to know if I had a visa or mastercard, and then said something about participating in winning $25.000m and started talking some nonsense. So I said "ok stop right there, I'm not interested, and please stop harassing me." He said "well this is the first time we actually TALK to you, because you haven't been picking up the phone." So I said "I haven't been picking up the phone, because you keep harassing me." He then said "well here in America, when people don't pick up, that means that people will call them back" and I said "well in Europe, if people don't pick up, that means that they want to be left alone." So he said "ok, we will just call you another time then." And I said "no, I want you to put me on your do not call list, and you can't call me anymore." And that obnoxious guy said "oh yes we can and we will!!" and he hung up laughing...

This is SO frustrating..

So today I got another call from them while I was at work, this time a woman called, I asked her for her name, she said Theresa, I asked for her ID number, she said 9711, I asked for her company name, she said "TRC" or something like that. She wouldn't give me her last name, she said she was the only Theresa there. So then I told them that if I hear from them again, I will be contacting Better Business Bureau. And she said "well if you see the 800 number, just don't pick up." An i told her "well how about if you stop harassing me instead?" And then she hung up.
