Same message, could help me with interest on credit cards, lower 1.5%.  Acted like I knew him and was doing me favor.  We do not owe money on any credit card, so I know he is a fraud.  Talked about having to close out my file.  Did not call back, let him close it out!

Left a message on my voice mail at work. He did sound like I was supposed to know who he was ... but I don't. Am not returning the call, Dick -- I mean Rick.

Got a message from 1-800-978-4584 - Rick Morgan.  Sounded like he was trying to convince me about how busy he is and he just couldn't get back to me by phone any sooner - of course, I have never called him. I did call back - got someone and asked to have my phone number removed. The person hung up immediately.  I tried again - same thing - just hung up.  They say they are the non-profit Debt Relief Center.

The company is called Debt Solutions 800-978-4584 call the number that Rick leaves you the lady answers "Debt Solutions" if you have call forwarding or SELECTIVE Call Forwarding, forward all your Telemarketer calls to this number 800-978-4584.  Payback sucks 'eh?

Called twice on different days saying it was last chance before closing file. If it was "last chance" how did I receive a 2nd call?!? Says he notes I am making minimum payments and can lower interest to 1.5%. I don't make ANY payments because I don't have any credit cards -.-  His name is Rick Morgan. It is a prerecorded message. His number is 800-978-4584. He doesn't say what company he is with...just says "been really busy with this new program..."

Yea some guy named Rick called sounding like he's somehow connected to me (personally) and was wanting to "help me with my accounts" and that i need to call him asap so he would have to close my files....whatever, right? i didn't answer the call itself however that's about the idea of the voicemail that was left for me. how did my number get in the Rick guys hands?

Left a message about lowering interest rates. Didn't even leave a name just said to call back but just get a message machine when you call the number in the message. This sounds like a scam and it needs to stop.

same thing as you all...just got a message saying it was "dave brown" and that he sent me a letter that I "might remember receiving" about consolidating my credit card debt...hmmm Dave, don't recall getting that one ;)

Got a call with a message stating "hey guys, sorry I missed you...this is Dave Brown" etc etc.  Offered CC consolidation at 1.5% interest rate.  800-478-4584. Caller ID said 636-970-4415.  Im thinking its bogus.

Funny how we are right back at getting telemarketing calls, but now on our cell phones.  awesome.

Just got a call from this cupcake....said he was "looking" at my credit card record wanted to offer me something at 1.9% interest that wasnt a NEW loan.  Just paid all my cards off.  When my cell phone picked up the call the number SHOWN was 636-970-4415.  Thats a St Louis, MO number, but the number that Mr Cheese Whiz GAVE me was this 800-978-4584.

I received this call today. As no company name was ever mentioned in the call, I immediately deleted it. I have no credit cards, and no mortgage, therefore there'd be no records. Stupid scams.

They called and left me a voice message about me making only minimum payments on my credit cards and that this was the last time he could call before he closed my file.  BS!!!!  I called the number back that he left, which a woman answered and said "Debt Relief Center".  So I decided to just sit on the phone in silence.  If they are going to bother me I will bother them right back!!!

I returned the call and asked for Rick. Was told he works in outbound office doing marketing and she would be happy to help. She answered the call "Debt Relief Center". I asked if she could remove number, she said yes "area code first please" (she is used to this). I gave her the number and she paused long enough for me to ask her "Do you know you are being reported all over the internet for this, calling businesses?" She very pleasantly answered "Yes. Thank you. Bye bye."

Please do it ~.~  Not to charge the govt, but to connect them to scamming a govt phone number! May be better able to make a conviction than some poor citizen like the rest of us. love your sense of humor if nothing else! =P

Called back and explained that I was recording the call and gave all of our numbers.  The lady that took my numbers hung up on me after I told her we had a block of 1000 numbers.  I called back was sent to voice mail when I asked to speak with a supervisor.  The third time and explained I was recording the message.  I gave a lady our numbers to who after I told her the numbers told me that she didn?t get paid to enter all the numbers that we have and hung up on me.  I'm so glad I have this recorded.  These people don?t understand that they are calling businesses.  Some businesses like us have over 1000 phone numbers called DIDs.  They have no clue what they are doing to us!  Why is the government standing around doing nothing about this!?!?!?

"Rick Morgan" left me a message saying he can lower my interest rates to 1.5% and that he "sees" I am only making minimum monthly payments on my credit cards.  Hmmm, that's funny, I don't have any credit card debt.  Absolute croc of crap.  Reported to my Attorney General for harrasment on my company Blackberry nonetheless.

Receive a VM from Rick.  Try to call back; no answer.  In the message left, is talking about reducing my interest on my CC....I do not have any. He claims that I do make only minimum payment on a card that I do not have.  In addition, the phone number that he called is a business phone and has no way to know it is assigned to me, for now.  I am a consultant!

Same deal, anyone here gamers or recently applied to some sort download which requested info. I'm sure some scam is collecting and selling our info.

I've never talkd to this company or any other company about reducing my credit card rates & I have not made any partial payments on my credits cards in over 20 yrs.  I pay mine off in full each month.

Call the number -- Answered "Debt Relief Center" I asked to speak to "Rick Morgan" he was unavaiable. "Can I help you with your High interst Credit Cards?" I stated I wanted to speak to Rick about my file that he had and was transferred to "Dan"s full voice mail.

Smells like a scam

Pre-recorded Healthcare benefits call, press 1 for advisor, press 2 to be removed from database.  Message was left on my virgin mobile cell phone voice mail.  This toll-free number says not a valid number when you call it. I filed complaint with FCC at 1-888-CALL-FCC or 1-888-225-5322. Also on-line with Form 1088.

Had a voicemail on my work email this morning, was left last night at 6:30 PM.  Said he was looking at my record too and I was only making minimum payments on my credit cards.  I don't have any credit cards.
The number that actually shows up on VM ID is 800-465-7962.  Looking up that number is a scam to get you to call back and it auto charges your phone number for the call.   I may call it just for fun,  I work for the US GOVT.

Called today 4/27/09 @ 2:40 PM stating something about last chance he can call back... Yes his name was Rick Morgan (100-978-4584 and 1-800-954-9358)
