1) I never had a loan with this co. They called me on my cell phone. I pay all my bills including taxes on time. This is a scam. They try to rattle personal information as a scare tactic.
2) You are probably part of the scam, aiding and abating these uneducated,condescending criminals.
3) It is pointless for you to pass judgement as this set up will not last. You will be caught. They try but it will not last. Anyone that dares to impersonate an officer needs to know WHERE he works and what his BADGE # is! Seriously you claim to be an officer and you do not know your badge #?

Recorded caller says it's not a tel-marketer call and requests that you call 800 988 6037 or at the end of the message says press 1 to talk with a representative now.  Pressing 1 get you a busy signal.  The company calls at least three times a week, most frequently about 7:00 pm.

2-3 times a week or more from a call station machine.  When you press 1 you gwert a person that says you owe X amount iof Dollars from a Wal Mart shoplifting case that has been taken care of in local court.  When you call the number directly back you get Bennett Law Firm.  After explaining this to the person on the other end of the phone & asked that the harrrassing calls stop they said they won't,  we said then we'll call the police..they promptly hung up....we'll see if they call back

They are a real law office, with real lawyers, but they are a bunch of do***ebags.

I've been getting calls for about a month or so.  I figured if I ignored them, they'd get the hint.  Finally I looked them up and found this site.  I called and told them I never wanted to hear from them again. They asked if there was an Andrea here, and I said "no."  They said they'd take the number off their list.  This was 5 minute ago so we'll see.

How about this: PAY YOUR TAXES

Debt collecters don't enjoy talking to you, in fact they don't like it at all.  But (lets take the madam talking about how her son stole a candy bar) if all you had to do was pay for the candy bar, and no aditional restitution, then everyone would steal, and only just pay the regular item cost when they got caught.

Look, I work for the company and I can (try) to answer any questions you have... I'm not here to fight, just don't like the idea of people acting like we're dirty evil people who steal money.

Note that every debtor we call / every debt we collect on is sent to us by our client (Wal-Mart, ext...) we don't make these up ourselves. In regards to whoever mentioned that no one here is a lawyer and we just scam, that is incorrect, we have collecters (who are not lawyers) and are the ones that (often) will call you somewhat constant.

Any questions about our work I'll answer if you'd like, but I will not respond to people who are just here to talk about how they hate debtors, which (correct me if I'm wrong) most of this community seems to be here for.

These guys are a joke! I`m on the Do Not Call List and perpetually report them but to no avail.Now I get some small satisfaction by calling them back from a blocked number and wasting their time.The sorry-a** "legal assistants" really get angry and hang up on you.Also,you can have your friends & family (w/blocked numbers)call and do the same.Please make sure you do not threaten,intimidate or use any profanity when talking to these people.

same damn message everyone else gets.  atleast two or three a day.  i was on hold with the stupid supposed law firm yesterday for over 12 minutes when i finally hung up.  

my advise is to register on the 'national do not call' registry.  just goodle that in quotes and it will come up.  this should help with the annoying telemarketers.

You may also contact the Utah Bar Association on: 801-531-9110 Professional Conduct Commission  to file a complaint.Talk to Attorney General in your state.Have them prove they have a judgement against you. Make sure the statue of limitations has not run out and do not be harassed by these leeches. You can even ask to work privately with the persons the checks were written too! Believe me when I say that you have options. Bennett and Deloney are lilke deer ticks! Parasites that thrive off others. I can't wait for the day that I read that these slugs have been caught with extortion tactics. It will come because they have been caught before. Im pretty sure they are being watched closely.

Tricky, tricky bill collectors! Somewhat of a law firm, not that you ever get to speak to a real lawyer at any point.  The website says they are trained, but now i know they're trained to trick! Not cool, beware these legal sharks who want to "help you resolve your matters"...

My Ex stole my checkbook, SSN, etc. & wrote checks @ payday loan stores all over the West coast. These checks should not have been honored, most places realized the mistake and wrote it off or have gone after him. They needed my co-operation, of course i gave it. One place convinced me that if i closed that account i would go to federal prison for years, they could work w/me through the legal dept if i wrote a check from my current account, saying they had MY best interest @ heart. Wrote the check, "bought the debt" and the legal dept is Bennet, DeLoney, & Noyse who call and threaten, but don't listen or help you w/your situation. I finally got a decent lady, did payment arrangements, she said there was not much they could do since i "bought the debt" but that she would ask an attorney how i should handle this in the future. Called back the next week to make a payment, rude guy yelled @ me & said she was fired for being too nice. Great.

I noticed a few people talking about calling their attorny generals, is that the source of correct info on how to deal w/this?

Called me to collect on my 15yr old son's shoplifting (yes, he stole candy bars and got caught).  Thought we'd paid restitution with the juvenile court, but apparently as it turns out, the store had hired 'em to go after ME for my son's acts, and there's law to back it up, under the Fla civil statutes.  Maybe these guys are scammers, but my paralegal bud says they have me dead to rights.

We have been getting these calls every other day. Seems they want some unthinkable amount of money from a shoplifting crime that has NOT gone to court. In my state, they can't ask over twice the amount and Bennett And Deloney are asking 13 times the amount! When asked about all the circumstances of this, they have absolutely no idea what is going on. We've asked them repeatedly "under the Fair Credt and Reporting Act, to quit calling here." We have sent a cease and desist with a certified registered return receipt. I suggest everyone to investigate the web on these under handed scam artists. DO NOT give them any money. I hope somebody sues them again like the Attoney General ofr West Virginia. There are dockets on the web where people are constantly filing suit against these scumbags!

Unfortunately we too have become an object of this crooks "desire" with annoying phone calls for something my wife and I know nothing about as we carry no debt of what they speak (I finally called them only to become enraged with frustration when they brought up something we knew nothing about nor does it make any sense!)  Thanks form the cease and desist form above.

I have been receiving these calls as mentioned above for a while now too. I was afraid to call back, cuz..well, no one wants bad news right?? Anyway's what's weird is that they asked for someone I have never heard of...that seems to be the case with a lot of your guys' posts. I mean how can they have so much bad info? That's what I don't get. Very unusual. They also didn't fight me or sound surprised when I denied being Mrs. Cook, which from my experience with collectors, isn't their usual response since they assume your lying to avoid settling up....anywho..we'll see what happens..Also, does anyone know if they are just calling cell's or landlines as well??

These fools were calling me for quite a while.  I added the #'s to my cell phone under the name "An A**".  I faxed a letter stating the following to them & Northstar Location Services and the calls stopped within a week.
You will obviously need to change the stuff marked with * *.

I recently started receiving many automated phone calls from your company to my business cell phone (303) 555-1212.  The message states that *Mr. Smith* needs to contact you.  *Mr. Smith* does not currently reside at my address nor has he in the past.

My credit is impeccable and I do not have any accounts in collection.

In answer to your post, I did call and spoke to Nathan, I think was his name, but my ID number is different, but same company.  They said they were looking for someone I have never heard of before so they removed my number from SIX different files that  my number was attached to.  So we will see if it works, he said to give it a day for sure before the calls completely stop.  I'm assuming you have called to request your number be removed, if not, take the time.  At least it's worth a shot.  Good luck.

I have been receiving a call at least once a day EVERYDAY from Bennet, Deloney & Noise!  Finally, I called them to have them remove my number, they gave me a name of someone, (who I didn't know) they were looking for.  Still got phone calls everyday!  Called again a couple of days later and spoke to another person told me they were looking for the same person named earlier, who I didn't know.  And he finally went through files and found my number attached to six different files and had my number removed.  So we'll see if it works!  They say the calls should stop.

We receive these calls about three times a day.  I've read the above posts but don't really get the scam part of this call other then it just annoys people.

I looked up this Benettett deloney and noise law firm and i got this web page. They are trying to collect on a medical bill and i now that i read all these posts im afraid to believe what they are saying to me. Does anyone know if this is indeed a real law firm or are they fakes. i dont know what to do about the medical bill they are trying to collect on... does anyone have any ideas or information.if i ask for their bar number are they required to give it out? Daily calls for an "important legal matter"

Been getting these calls 3x a morning. They ask for Aubrey Ann Lowry...I have no idea who that is.  They tell me it is for an important legal action taken against me, and ask me to call back a number that gives me a "this is not a valid number" message.  Sick of it.

Message telling me to call the law offices of Bennett, Deloney & Noise.  When I called them I gave them the call reference number...they asked to speak with Sheila.  I breathed a sigh of relief and said you have the WRONG number.  They said they'd take the number out.
