It is Bank Of America calling to sell you their credit card protection program. Since I have a Bank Of America credit card, I do not think the Do Not Call List applies to companies you currently do business with.

Didn't answer

The lady just called trying to convince me to get into a Credit Card Protection program, supposedly from Bank of America. She was pretty rude too..when I told her I didn't need it since I'm pretty careful with how I use my card, she says "A lotta people are careful with their card...hello??!!!...u'll still need this"! Talk about being a b***h! I don't think they are really Bank of America since she sounded so unprofessional and rude.

Got a call today...Did not pick up. Good to know from all the posts here that it was a telemarketing call.

I am a Physician, and I don't know what to do about these calls. When they call I get paged as if it was an emergency from one of my clients in Utah. This is extremely inappropriate and a waste of my time. I had my assistant call and explain my situation numerous times to be put on hold and left hanging. I have wasted money and time on this annoyance and I want it stopped immediately!.If this continues I will hold the marketing company(Teleperformance USA) and Bank of America responsible for not being able to effectively respond to my patients.
Regards Walter.

I receive calls from this number. If nobody answers, they do not leave a message. A previous comment says it is Bank of America. I have Bank of America and have already told them no. They shouldn't still be calling me.

I have them calling 2 or 3 times a day. They were trying to sell me credit protection. I made the mistake of answering it once and I told them no and hung up. I am still getting the calls. It is really annoying.

I get 2 or 3 calls a day from 801-257-7590, Bank of America. My wife says I am at work and they do not leave any messages. THis is VERY annoying. How do you get them to stop calling?
K 2011-06-06 20:58:51 Unknown
They have called at least 11 in two weeks and not left a message.
J 2011-06-06 20:58:51 Unknown
I get this call a couple of times a day. I now pick up the phone but say nothing. I am so tired of these types of calls.
DG 2011-06-06 20:58:51 Unknown
Same annoying calls! Don't get it, they don't speak, so they can't sell, they don't pick up so you can't cancel them. I'm soo glad I closed a couple of accounts with Bank of America, they should be more careful about this things, they are a pest and using our personal info, alas, royally wrong!

I finally figured out how to stop these calls! When they called my (and I recognized the number!) I picked-up and I said "Thank you for calling FBI. How may I direct your call?"
They never called me again!

The lady asked for me and when I said I wasn't here and asked for a message, she said. "No. No message" and hung up.

The do not call list is awaste of time and another example of a scam set up by our government. I have lsited several companies that have called me and asked that I be contacted by someone with follow up info on their actions and have never received a reply.

If it's Bank of America, they can kiss off. Let them take their 4Billion dollar profits, and pay US back!
Bunky 2009-07-24 17:46:45 Unknown
I called it and it said, "Teleperformance USA".... this is NOT the name of any credit card company!
Ray 2009-07-16 18:24:00 Unknown
I want them to stop calling everyday. I answer once and you could tell it was a telemarker. They need to be put out of business.

They call every night, I finally answered the phone and asked them to remove my number off their list. They are Bank of America credit cards trying to sell services. They said the best way is to call the 800 numbers from the back of our credit cards to ask them to remove number off their list.(Whatever)

I listened to the gal's explanation that her company (called Inc. or Ink)who supposedly partnered with Bank of America credit card to sell fraud protection for ALL my credit cards and free credit report. I said I was not interested and immediately hung. I then called Bank of America themselves and reported that phone call, and they said it was a SCAM. I gave them the phone number from my called ID and it was turned over to the Bank of America fraud team. Here's what I know: If someone calls and says they are from a credit card company, your health insurance company, etc. do not give out any information. Call your providers directly by their PUBLISHED phone numbers or email from their website, and deal with them that way. NEVER give out your info over the phone to someone who calls you! In this economy, there are too many people willing to become scammers.
