Nope not a scam, I returned the call & it's a national bill processing center for physicians in many parts of the country. Go ahead & call them back & give them the account number or the phone number that received the call. They will explain it all

It's most likely a billing company that your physician hired to take care of billing. Worth a call back if you receive an account number. I

I have received 3 calls from this number.  I get the same message as above saying "This is your doctor's office.  Please call and refer to account # __________."  I have no idea who this is.  My son did receive medical care in Utah this year, but all of the bills were through a major hospital.  Is this a scam?  The posts above refer to Granger Medical and I know I have NEVER made an appointment there.

I am not sure who these people are, They keep calling and all it is a recording Impersinating my Doctors office.....

Same as above reported by Ginger - 19 Jun 2009.  I picked up the phone to answer it and immediately got the message "this is your doctor's office, please call 800-846-5313, and refer to account number ########."  Caller ID was MED USA CORP. Ginger's message identifies it as Caller Type:  Collection Agency.  I tried to push * to replay the message and it immediately went to dial tone.  I tried to call the 801 number and it immediately goes to a busy circuit signal - or busy signal.  I called the 800-846-5313 and it's answered as "Physicians' Billing Office", and closed for the day.  This is harrassment.

I Also got a call from this number and noone answered I do not go to granger medical for health care
