I swear I get more of these calls now than I did before the do not call list in Canada. I didn't know the number so I didn't answer. This was on Apr 15/09 at 12:07 pm ET.

I got this call at 12:40pm central time.  Figured it was a spam call so I just answered and hung up right away so they couldnt get through to my voicemail.

Called my cell at 11:02am on April 15.  No voice mail left.

rec'd a call 4/14 3pm on cell, did not answer

Got a call from the same Provo number demanding payment stating this is the "Third and Final Call".  BS

I work for a telephone company. Just got a call from a customer stating he got a call on his unlisted cell phone number demanding payment. They called themselves the credit bureau, didn't give anymore info and hung up. They said it was the 3rd AND LAST time they would call....ya right, I'll be reporting this.

Forgot to mention, it is very simple to spoof a caller ID (ANI). So it is a possible scenario that this a spoof and the poor fellow that had the number is getting slammed (so he disconnected his own number and forgot to update his web registration).

Same as many folks here. Called my business number (which is unpublished DID to my knowledge), went to voicemail and did not leave a message. Called the number back and, of course, that number is no longer in service.

Recorded message about healthcare. Didn't catch the name of the company...

Number called from 1-801-356-3246 to my unlisted landline. Let it go to the voice mail. Left no message. Called the number back, and it said "this number has been disconnected."  Looked the number up on 411, and it said it was a number from Prevost, UT.  

Googled the number, and found this site!  Guess it is a scam of some sort!

yeah i got the same phone call this morning but luckily i was asleep.  what service providers do you all subscribe to? i'm AT&T.  also, do any of you use pre-paid? i want to narrow this down and see if we can't put a stop to this cause i've had a lot of phone calls from many different long distance numbers. get at me!

This 801 # has been disconnected. But good ol' Stewart Goodwin of Goodwin media/MSMG who owned it does have this website, with # listed for contacting him. 801-623-0725. I called it, and got an answering machine message from HIM! Didn't know what to say, lol, so I hung up.

I'm pretty sure leaving my # and asking him to remove it wouldn't work. Maybe we should just all keep calling him non-stop, leaving a funny annoying message. I know y'all can come up with something clever!

Got the call also, right when i answered no one was saying anything then hung up, when i called back was saying the number was disconected. Witch is really weird.

I JUST GOT A CALL AS WELL. COMPANIES LIKE THIS CALLS NUMBERS IN SERIES. SOME PEOPLE GETS THE SAME CALL ON BOTH HOUSE AND CELL NUMBERS ALSO, THEY DONT KNOW WHO YOU ARE.

called my cell,a number not listed on ANY forms or anything except for at school. how they got my number is still a mystery, said something about healthcare. pressed 1 hoping it would take me to a representative so i could tell them to take my number off and figure out how they got it, but it said "thank you" and hung up...ok??? weird. if it happens again ill probably call the fcc or somebody and figure out how to stop it.

Left message on my cell about car warranty, sounds just like the messages from 800-168-4861. So macpc_repair, what can we do with the info you posted? (Good job!) And it's not from Ebay, they never knew my cell #, and I only give it out to people I know for emergencies, so I think they're calling randomly.

called, left no message.  I'm wondering if Ebay didnt sell them my info...

Automated call stating this was the third reminder for payment then promptly hung up.
