This guy has called me several times trying to get me to use my availible credit to make money by internet business development experts. I listened for quite awile then I asked what the name of thier company was he said "Focus", I googled it and found nothing! When I asked for a website and wanted info for checking them out he refused and got snippy so I hung up on him. He was persistant and called right back but I would not answer! Then I googled the phone number and found it on this list on this site. This guy is extremely slick and will easily sucker many people! sorry for you!

Of course this isnt my real name, but this guy claims this is not some sorta scam yet he also says he has no knowledge of the internet holding any malice against his acts of fraud yet, either way this guy has called me a few times now all due to some google program that can help you make money fast & easy supposly, the information you aquire first hand shows you nothing that could honestly produc you money just bunches of websites with search engines that search criteria for you based on the whole "google programs" ploy to make you money an get you to tell others how great it is...at best its merely just a scam...how could it be so easy an yet legal, none the less sold to tohers an still remain profitable...?

This is a scam, a company that calls itself "Google Riches".    I looked them up after they sent me an email.  I have no idea how they got my information.   Beware!   Do a search on "Google Riches" to find out more about these scumbags.

I signed up for the same stupid scam. Fortunately, right after I submitted for them to charge me 1.99 I looked up another website that urged me to please cancel my credit card and request another because they will continue to charge your credit card. I cancelled my credit card 2 minutes later. 2 days later my bank called me to inform that they denied two charges of $180.00 for moneymasters!! More like scam-masters!!!! If you signed up CANCEL YOUR CARD NOW!

After I told the man on the phone I wasn't interested and hung up, he immediately called me back.  He asked me why I hung up, Again I told him I wasn't interested and not to call again.  He replied "No I will call whenever I want."  Can you believe this guy?  Do you really want to give your information to anyone who behaves like that?

When signing up with anything online or not read the terms and agreement ,make sure you know what your agreeing too and read slowly don't be lazy and skim through ,skimming is what causes the problem. It's not that its was a scam, it was just that you didn't understand what you were agreeing to. You only read the agreement after you were charged, because your looking at your statement like (what the?!)I never authorized that!?!! Let me give you a personal experience. Freecreditreport.com, said it was free! But, there was a $1 charge that goes on and then off my credit card just to verify that its me.I did it, got my credit report free and thought I was done. I DIDN'T REALIZE THERE WAS A MONTHLY FEE AFTER 30 DAYS,so I call them asked what's this charge for 38.95 they said it was so I could check my credit every month. But, I only wanted to check my report once. But, I did remember I signed the agreement without reading it. So, I said O.K.! and lived with my mistake and discontinued my credit report. It wasn't a scam! They where helping people monitor there credit. Which is what they thought I wanted! So, please don't through the word scam around loosely, you never know the work that people do behind the scenes to help others become successful! I needed help from freecreditreport.com So I could fix my credit to buy a home! Just like some people need help to gain knowledge to become successful!!!

Seen a unauthorized charge on my online banking in the pending section on 08/20/09 with a billing name ASSURED 866-261-5415.  Called them they said someone used my card.  I called my bank to cancel my card and was refunded.  Today 08/25/09 received a call from Success Team 1-801-542-8589 saying I ordered this software to work from home for the same amount of the unauthorized charge.  I'm not sure what to do now.  Maybe do a credit report just to make sure nothing else is wrong.

What everyone has failed to mention is to use their services there is an initial cost associated with it.  This cost varies from $5,000 to $10,000 up front on your credit card.

Question is - are you willing to take this chance with this type of investment from a phone call you received after ordering a kit for $1.99?

Sharon, you are stupid.  My name really is jon, not erik or todd, and here is my website if you want to look at it.  www.sportbee.com If someone orders a program about how to make money on the internet obviously they want help, and they don't know how to do it on their own.  This company is the help. It's stupid people like you who give a bad reputation to companies like this.  They are there to help you make money, if you don't want to use their services than tell them that you aren't interested.  It's that simple, quit bitching and moaning about someone who is "harrassing" when you gave them your number to call.  If you don't want anyone calling you, don't give out your phone number.  If you read the terms and agreements of any program you order, it will say what you are allowing them to do by clicking "I agree." So no they won't go to federal prison for calling you. The reason I googled this number is because I got call a few days ago, and didn't recognize the number because I hadn't had a call from them in a while. Then I saw this blog full of idiots that don't read the terms and agreements, and that don't listen to what the people say on the phone. Anyway I still think you are all dumb s****. Except for Dustin, it looks like he is the only one, other than me, with a brain on this blog.

I came back to check this board and imo the above posters Dustin and Jon is either Eric and Todd or both. Think about this:

~ If I had bought a program and it worked out well and I was making money what purpose would I have in googling their phone number?
~ If I was a professional making money would I really post on a website naming people 'numb nuts', 'retarded', 'gay' or telling people they need to kill themselves because they had a horrible experience?

I won't bother going on as anyone with any common sense can re-read their posts and see what i'm talking about.

Dustin,
They don't ask you for any "sensitive" information is what you wrote.  Do you not consider your credit card sensitive information?

Jon,
Just because someone gives out a phone number does not give them the right to 'harass' anyone.  That is against the law and therefor subject to whatever state law the person phoned lives in.

Most people will just close their credit cards or account after the initial $1.87 instead of filing a formal complaint. More people will go ahead and file a fraud claim with their credit card for any higher charges which must be done in order to file a complaint with a State Law organization.  The complaint process can be long and involved but they (this company calling) will pay restitution even if it's only refunding all the money they have collected. In some cases people have been judged and done Federal/State time.  If enough people got together to file multiple complaints there are attorney's out there that love this type of case and will do it pro bono a lot of the time.  I have already spoken with a lot of law enforcement agencies and my cousin that is an attorney to get my complaint going.  Luckily, even if they closed up shop they can't erase the money trail as they are accepting credit card transactions and they can and will be found.

YOU'RE AN IDIOT. IF YOU THINK THAT SOMEONE WOULD GO TO FEDERAL PRISON FOR CALLING YOU WHEN YOU ORDERED HIS PROGRAM.....YOU NEED TO KILL YOURSELF. YOU GAVE HIM YOUR INFORMATION...DOING THAT GIVES HIM THE RIGHT TO CALL YOU. IF YOU DON'T WANT PEOPLE CALLING YOU THEN DON'T GIVE OUT YOUR INFORMATION.  I SWEAR SOME PEOPLE IN THIS WORLD ARE SO RETARDED.

okay numb nuts, if you would listen to these guys they would give you there website, but just for you.. visit www.choosefocusnow.com. This is who they are, and if you want to know the details of how the business works you're going to have to listen to what they say. They don't ask you for any "sensitive" information. They only asked for my debt to limit ratio which they can do nothing with. So just because you guys are stupid and won't do your research doesn't mean that it's a scam.

If you are getting calls chances are you already being billed.

Ya i purchased the advertising program for 1.87 as well. Same guy phoned me, a complete overly agressive man tring to convince me I wanted to be trained exclusivly with google advertisers. Now im wondering if more charges will appear on my credit card like others have. I mean why is the reason hes phoning people if the charges are appearing on credit cards already? SOmething doesn't sound right.

Is it only after people give him an over the phone transaction that charges will be made to your credit card?

If that's true Dustin, where's the legitimacy of the offer they make? Post the website here with the information to prove that it's a legitimate business. You have to understand that most people don't like to do business over the phone and we especially DO NOT want to provide sensitive information over the phone. I'd like to see something in writing.

I received some calls today from this number, they called asking for me and I didn't answer since I didn't recognize the number. I found this forum and realized that this was a scam, I looked at my account and there is a charge for $49.84 from these b*****ds. I had to call up my bank account to dispute it and now I'm really pissed. Apparently, they're a company called MoneyMastery, they find a quick way to scam your money. Don't fall for this, and take the advice from this forum.

Ditto to the above.  I spoke with Beau and after the "inital screening", I spoke with Robert Lind.  While Robert was talking, I googled the phone number they called from and discovered this info in time....well, in time to make it to the bank and shut off the credit card I used for the $1.97 transaction.  I also blocked their number...

THANKS GUYS!!!!  Good lookin' out!

number (801)542-8589
FACTS
-They say they are Google they are not.

-They charge $1.97 first, then if you go to your bank it says the charge came from a finance company not Google

-They will try to charge you more than once, they talk to you like $87.00

-Tracked the phone number ,comes out of Salt Lake City

-Real Google has no office located in Utah

-The number is a land line, but you can not call the number back

-Chad is the boss of the operation he calls you if his underlings can not make you give in to their scam

-Underlings are Eric, and Todd, and more

-1(888)673-3208 extension 1122 is give when they leave a message so you can call back do not call back! For the number that they called you from is (801)542-8589 the same number that you can not call back

-If the the Google software scam does not work they will try with eBay scam, web design scam, and so on until they can trick you so they can charge you that $87.00 amount

-If you cancel you card number and tell them that you did they will says that it hurts your credit score, but canceling a card saves your credit.

so those are the facts best thing to do cancel you card if you gave them your number. Tell them that you did canceled if they call you back cause you looked in to their scam be nice for they will quickly hangup on you after you tell them  that. Do not lie about canceling you card for they will check the number to see if you did and get made that you lied and charge you card for it. Now if they do not have your cards number then lie about it being canceled it does work.

sorry about my errors I put this together quickly

This guy must have a lot of time on his hands and will have more soon. Reporting the number to the Attorney Gerneral for investigation, this is harrassment and he has crossed state lines so he will be looking at doing some time in a nice Federal prison where he won't be able to make many more calls.  enjoy your time in jail buddy.

This guy Eric called my house this evening. I like many others got scammed into the buying the CD online. Thankfully realized my error within a couple of hours and got my account completely closed immediately.
Eric knew about my buying the CD and asked me if I had any experience with web designing. Told him no and he started telling me about a free program his company had on a trial right now to teach a limited number of people how to do the web designing. Told him I did not have the time for something like that right now and of course he kept on insisting I did. Seemed very polite but in the end I told him I had to hang up and was sorry. Came on google looking up the number he called from and am soooo glad I got off of the phone with him before telling him really anything.
Thank you to everybody who has posted on this guy before. Now if he does call back I know to watch out for him.

They have been called me several times over the past few weeks and each time I have requested to be taken off their call list.  Today when I said Goodbye he told me to wait and not hang up and that he had been lying the whole time. I said "Excuse me?".  Eric then said "I'm a homosexual and i'm stuck in the closet".  I immediately hung up the phone.  How do I go about reporting this? I have never talked to someone so rude as this young man.  I don't even know how they got my phone number.

Lady called asking for wife, said she was from Google, it's actually Momentum Marketing.  Lady said she didn't have a direct call back number and I asked, "Isn't it weird a business doesn't have a call back number?"  She said No, and then she told me to call down.  I was angered to say the least.  I blessed her and hung up.  These guys are real winners, it's all a scam.  Stay Away!
