I just got a call from them too.  No one there.  Funny the call box gives the phone number then it reads SPAM.  Too funny.

Continue to receive calls from this number,,,,once, someone answered and I complained.....calls still coming!!

When I answered, the caller wanted to speak to someone by name (happens to be my boss). When I told them that the person was unavailable, they went into a sales pitch. The pitch was for credit card advance lending, which incidentally, they require you to get a new merchant account with/through them. Watch out for these deals if you own a business. Oh, and it seems to be an outsourced call center that is probably not in Bountiful Utah as the reverse look up suggests. The caller sounded Filipino.

Just got a call from this number asking for my boss. I told them he wasn't available and then they immediately went into a sales pitch for a 0% interest credit card. The person on the other end spoke very broken English......

No answer, just silence.  If you don't want to answer, why call?

I got a call from the same number and caller id comes up as ...get a load of this....  SPAM!  lol...nothing on the other end but noise!

Is it possible to block a ?SPAM? number?  We keep getting hang up calls from the same number listed as SPAM in the caller ID.  The number is 801-693-1726.  When I call it back it says you have reached a number that has been disconnected.

Received calls just like the people above. I have reported the number and the 7 incidents where we have received calls at our business to the Federal Communications Commission. They are investigating.

801-693-1726, SPAM.  I have gone onto the donotcall.gov file a complaint website and reported this number for harrassment 28 times!  I have not heard anything from donotcall.gov.  Who get's the fine money that they collect from the company if I am the one being harrassed daily?  Wouldn't that be nice if they split up the money collected and dispurse it amongst all of the people filing complaints?  Wishful thinking.  Here's the best part, they call me twice a day, everyday, I own a small pizza shop and they call at 12:00 (lunch) and 5:00 (dinner).  SO ANNOYING!

They have called me about 10 times.  I've answered and every time, I get silence. When I don't answer and let it go to voicemail, no message. It's like they are harrassing me!

I hope they have been reported this is the first time I have ever seen SPAM as the Caller. There was no one on the line just silence and hung up.

we've received several calls from this number - all dead air! They obviously target business numbers.

This number calls our company just about everyday, The CID says SPAM and when we answer there is only silence.  Would like to put this on the do-not-call list - can this be done from your organization?

Received incoming call with this number, but the caller id labeled it as spam which makes it helpful in not answering the call at all.

Receiving calls from 801-693-1726, Caller ID shows Spam as the company, no one is on the line when you answer. Why do companies/people do this, I have business to attend to.

repeated calls, several times a day with no answer.  Once did have a human voice and I demanded they remove me from list... has not worked yet...it was a merchants company- I think they are peddling credit card machines!

I just received a call from these guys.  When I read the company name I laughed.  Right there it just said, 'SPAM'.  Well that was enough for me.  I wish they would all say that.  I did answer and no one was there.  Makes me wonder if they wait for someone not to answer and just leave a recorded voice mail about cash/credit cards/loans.  I get those all the time.  I always say hit #2 if you want to be taken off the list.   Nope doesn't work.

We've actually been getting "no one there" calls for several years, but since I got a business license there's occasionally a salesman at the other end speaking wretched Enlish and claiming to be from a merchants' credit-card processing company.  Today someone screwed up and used this number which I star-69ed.  When I called, it was a non-working number.

I, too, have received 3 calls from this same phone number.  The first time there was a sales person on the other end.  I didn't get the name of the company because I immediately asked them to remove my number from their database.  Since then I have received 2 other calls with noone on the other end.  I also tried redial and got a "Number Not In Service" message.

How do you report them if the number is non-existing?

I just got (another) call from these guys and actually had someone on the other end.
This is a company that sets up merchant accounts apparently.
The line was so badly garbled, and the accent so thick, that I had to ask 5 times what the company name was.
I got "Total Merchant Services"  at least thats what it sounded like.
And that they were based in Colorado.
Now I don't beleive this for a minute, but I asked for a number that they could be reached at and when they refused to give me one I asked for them to put my number on their do-not-call list.

We'll see if I get another call.

If you're registered with the No Call List then use the complaint from on their website.  If they get enough complants about one number it will get their attention and they'll do something about it.  The fine for violating the No Call List is $10,000.
