Guy named Carlos said he was from AT&T and tried to sell me insurance for my iPhone, which I don't own.

This # is for Spring Mobile.  They are AT&T's dealer for some western states.  An account rep named Amber called me and lowered my monthly bill and upgraded my phones at prices better than I found online.  Definitely a real business

It is a legit company, otherwise they have the entire att customer info. Spring Mobile from Utah, they service the Colorado area too. They are an ATT dealer and can give you better upgrades than the stores can.

Caller said he was from AT&T and wanted to add a service to my line.  I told him I would call him back.  He's trying to jive me.

This is Spring Mobile's customer call center.  They periodically call me to let me know if I have any overages on my AT&T bill.  They have upgraded phones for me in the past and shipped the phones directly to me.  Sure does beat spending a couple hours in an AT&T store.

Lady called me said that she was an account rep for At&T wanted me to upgrade service on phone line, told me to check www.gophone.com for prices. definitely a scam,

I thought it was a phishing call so I was pretty short with the caller. I called Spring customer service to let them know someone was using their identity to phish for info. I was told that it was legit and they randomly call AT&T customers (under the auspices of being an AT&T retailer) to discuss their accounts and see if there are any changes/upgrades the customer wants to make. I did let the call center know that the way this went down it is easy to jump to conclusions. AT&T has never called (long time customer) to discuss my account plus I purchased all my accounts & equipment from AT&T corporate stores, not Spring.

It's Spring Mobile, the AT&T Mobility dealer in Utah and Colorado. They're legit.

My wife tells me we got our phones from a Spring dealer. Great...

Also someone from Spring Communications saying he was looking over my bill and wanted to save me money.

Looks like another loop hole in the do not call list. Since I did business with AT&T, they probably sold my number to Spring to have them call and upsell me.

Unless they can get my exact service but cheaper, sounds like a load of horse s*** outbound seller.

I'm going to call them back and see what the hell is up with this.
