Been receiving the same voice mail for a few days now. I sure hope it will stop eventually.

keep getting calls from this number... comes up as YPR. No one ever leaves a message. When I called back, says its JCPenny credit card.  Its automated, asks for last four of ssn and account number.  It doesn't give an option to speak to customer service. JCPenny's needs to get their act together and a handle on this!!!!!

got ten calls today from 801-839-7367

I have had two series of calls from this number, and one very similar to it -- the first was in early April that said Salt Lake City, then this week again. No idea who they are and they only leave a message that says they will call me back later. When I tried to dial the number it didn't even have a dial tone, just nothing.

HAVE GOTTEN NUMEROUS CALLS FROM 801-839-7367. DON'T HAVE CALLER ID SO DON'T KNOW WHAT IT WOULD SHOW UP AS. BUT THEY ALWAYS LEAVE MESSAGE THAT SAYS "THIS IS A SERVCE VERIFICATION CALL". THEN IT HAS SHORT PAUSE AND THEN SAYS "WE WILL CALL YOU BACK AND HANGS UP ON MY MACHINE WHICH IS ON 24/7.

keep getting calls from this number, several times a day, everyday. The callerID shows "YPR". When I do not answer they leave a message saying that "This is a service...verification. We will call you back...later." If I do answer nobody answers and they hang up. The whole thing seems pretty shady to me since I have no idea why they  are calling. The only thing I know for sure is that the calls are getting very, very annoying.

I have received 6 calls in 4 days. What a nuisance.

Received a call at 8:25 in the evening.  Whoever they are left a message about service verification.  I hope this is not the beginning of annoying calls everyday.  How do we stop these calls?  Does the do not call list not work anymore?  It gets to the point where I just don't answer the phone & want to get rid of  the landline altogether.

Got a call like this twice today.  Don't know where YPR comes from, but it sounds a lot like they are affiliated with NCO whose number is 888-830-4301.  Therefore, there's a good chance that this number might be some illegal debt collector or illegal tax collector.

They called about 5 times. Finally i answered and the woman said "This is Yellow Pages Opinion Research. Did you receive a Yellow Pages Directory?"  The number has been added to my blocking list.

I got a call from this number and they left a voicemail. She claimed to be from The Washington Post, saying there is an issue with my account? All contact information I've found online is based out of DC. I'm all paid up until October, so I don't know. Don't know how the papers work, but I would assume that if the Washington Post needs to contact me it would be from a 202 number.

I keep getting calls from this number.  I answer and there is no response.  Very anoying.

Phone number identified as YPR keeps calling at various times of the day & evening (even weekends) with no messages, just calls. This place needs to be shut down.

I also received several calls from this number with the YPR. They only one time left a message but called four times in about 7 hours.  I don't know if I am comfortable with entering my telephone number to someplace I don't know.  Since they called at 8:37 p.m. I am hoping they will call again around the time and answer the call, just to see I can get more information.

Received same type of call but from number 801-839-7365. FR at the end of the number. 1st call was today.

Keep getting many calls from this number. They always leave a message on the machine that says "This is SERVICE VERIFICATION. We will call you back." Caller Idea has the name YPR attached to that number. When I look up that number online (and YPR) nothing is found. That number is listed as an unlisted land line in Utah. I called the number and when it answers, they only identify themselves as customer service. They again do not say who the hell they are. The only thing you can do when you call back is enter in your phone number to be removed from the list - there is no other option. You can't speak to a rep or anything.

I think that any company that goes to this much trouble to hide who they are must be shady.
