calls me multiple times a day for weeks now. I'm so sick of it.

Delinquent on payments???  No, absolutely not.  Minute our balance shows due on our computer, we pay on line - completely - entire amount!  So, no, they're not necessarily calling re delinquency.  Got to be another reason.  Harrassment comes to mind.

We're in our 80's - have Caller ID.  These people call us constantly, never leave a message.  I'm now starting to keep record.  This past Friday I had oral surgery - they called at 9:30 pm - (we were already asleep for the night)  

We never answer.  Saturday - started at 8:10 am, 9:20 am, 11:20 am, and 1:05 pm.  How can we stop this harrassment?

Any help/suggestions are appreciated.

As mentioned, hubby and I are in our 80's and don't welcome this type of calls.

Why they call and just hang up - i have no idea...

I called the number back just yesterday and was told that it was Discover requesting that I do a credit line increase. I did let them know that I was not interested and received another call from them today.  They never leave a message letting you know what they want.

Sounds like a scam, someone pretending to be from Discover... I received a letter in the mail from "Discover" saying I qualified for a credit increase on my card.  A couple days later this number started calling my cell phone (not a clue how they got that number because the Discover card that I have has my business number registered with it NOT my cell number).  I answered the first time & it was a soft spoken woman who I could barely hear saying they hadn't heard back from me about the letter they sent.  I told her I was busy & asked if I could call back.  Instead of just telling me to call the number listed on the back of my Discover card she gave me a number to call.  It seems like a scam.  I didn't call back & they have already called back again 3 times in the past two days.

Someone called my work number today and I was not available. They got through my entire voicemail message and didn't hang up so I received a message with a lot of noice in the background. No actual message was left.

This is used by Discover Card.  They called me from this number today.

I've had a call from this number three days in  a row, when i answer, no one is there.

Keep calling every day and hanging up. It is very annoying to be teaching and my phone rings...

I received many times a call from that number .I report it because I do not what they want and they bother to much

I applied for a 0% apr card on their website, and this was the verification/security/approval department

This number called me and the lady said she was from Discover credit card.

WONT QUIT CALLING ME

I ignore calls from 801-902-4620. They never leave a message.

I got this call on May 30,2011, a Holiday and , left a quick MSG. that I call them back about my Discover Card Account. I do not have an discover card nor applied for.  Then today they called from that number again but left no MSG only empty mach type sound for 14 seconds.  In the first call they left a different phone# 1- 800-3473586

I received calls on my cell from this number, about 7 total over a 2-day period.  I never answered and no one ever left a message.  Finally a answered one.  It was a young woman who just simply asked for a named I've never heard of.  She didn't identify herself as a company or offer any information.  It was a very strange call.  I had to pry information out of her.  I asked her "Who's calling?".  She just says "this is Emily".  After asking her to be more specific, she kind of giggles and says "I'm with Discover Card Services".  There's something really wierd going on here.  Either it's really a debt collection agency subcontracted by Discover or it's a collection dept within Discover.  I can't imagine Discover Cards regular customer service reps could possibly be so unprofessional.  Be careful!

It is Discover card call center. Either you didnt pay your bill or they want to sell you something.. The number has called me twicw this morning and no one there??

I have been recieving the calls to my work number and when I answer, they hang up.  I tried calling the number back and it stated I was being transferred to the Utah Discover Card Office and then someone came on the line.  Instead of giving them any information, I contacted 1-800-DISCOVER and spoke with their Customer Service and Security Department, they stated that they had no information as to someone trying to contact me or any reason Discover Card would need to contact me.  I informed them of the phone calls I've been receiving from 801-902-4620 and they took down the information to investigate.

I missed a call today and I called it back.  A lady answered saying that she was from Discover Card and that they were calling to confirm my Discover Card application.  I told her that I didn't apply for one, than she said "maybe we pre-qualified you whats your social security number?"  I told her that wouldn't be necessary and i'm not interested and hung up.
Even though people say its Discover Card it felt like someone was fishing for a SSN anyway they could get one.

They call nearly every day. I will not answer. It must not be important because they never record a message.

Did not recognize the number and did not answer. Caller did not leave a message.

My brother is a manager for Discover card and when he would call my cell phone from his work number, this is the number that would be on my caller id.

This number is Discover Card. They called me and I couldn't answer. When I called them back, I was connected to the Discover Card Cust. Service

This stupid number keeps calling and calling. I have had several messages that are country love songs in the backround. When they called today and I answered nobody was there. This is ridiculous.

Call lasted for 12 seconds as she asked for some name .......if such n such person there....i said you have got the wrong number.It was strange as the call was from canada and i am in usa.....It was a long distance call...! So that made me think....and i searched it on internet...and i found this website...where there are already so many complains about that number. Wht is going on???

Yes this is from Discover.  I can vouche for that.  I had applied for a stafford student loan through discover, however my school suggested I use nelnet so I went with them instead(just because my funds would be there faster being that is what my school uses) I recieved a call from this number today and they left a message about completing the loan.

Yes, this was from discover card (or so they claimed)
