We also received one of these questionable calls.  To me it was so obvious that it was a fraud scheme that I never returned the call.  

A few weeks later we received a bill from one of our doctors and it turns out they didn't bill the correct insurance and all claims were rejected.  I guess this call was actually legit, but the way it was worded and that it was an automated call made it look like scam to me.  We are also in Utah...

I recently posted on gumtree as well - seems to be a very common theme!
I'm not in the US, though, I'm in the UK, so it seems to me that they are targeting people worldwide!
I am trying to contact Gumtree but their system is SO slow.
I now know for the future not to put my number on gumtree, i'll make another email especially for this!!

This number left a message saying they are calling from the Univeristy of Utah Health Care.

Same with me. I called back, wondering why I would be receiving calls from the University of Utah "business" office, as the message indicated, and they were looking for someone by another name.

Luckily, I read this post, and was comfortable answering the call. Glad I did appearently they did not have my insurance information.  And the company was about to send the entire bill to the collection agency!

I didn't answer it, but on my voicemail it was just music and at the end was some lady saying "goodbye" nothing else....

I returned the call (originally sent to my previous cell phone number) and the operator could not find my number on their file.  It must have been a previous patient's phone number.

This is the new outsourced collections department for the University of Utah Hospital.  Pay your doctors, they deserve it.  I know mine does.

I called them back and gave them all my billing info, then freaked out when I thought about it and saw this page.  They seemed a little sketchy to me.  I called the website listed U of U Patient Financial services and asked them about it.  They confirmed this is a new number/group that does billing and they are valid.

Same with me- does anybody know who they are?  I registered my phone on the no call list- what gives?

They call 2 - 3 times daily.  It's always a recording that says something like, "This is your physician's office."  Okay, if it were really my physician's office it would say the physician's offices name.  And it would be a real person.  And I've been to my physician since these calls started and there is no "urgent matter" that they need to discuss with me.  They're driving me insane!

I've been getting calls from this number for a couple week, about once a week. I am over 60 days late with my Hospital bill. They have never left me a message, and I don't answer calls from anonymous phone #'s, Now that I know, I'll pay my bill - before things get worse.

I also got a call from here because I had a balance at the U of U hospital.

I used to work with ERS and they are pretty bad.. but bonneville is way worse...

This is the U of U Medical Center collections.  Word of advice:  pay their bills.  If you wait too long they send to the most aggressive collection agency in the state  Express Recovery Services.  These people use scare tactics to threaten people and are unwilling to negotiate.

They did not leave a message. I am assuming it was a collection call from the U of U Hosp. (Even though I have made arrangments with them already! They seem to have me on their call list about once a week. Araghhh!)

This number also called and left a message that they are with U of U Health Care.

Just noticed missed call on cell phone.  Did not leave any msg which I find quite annoying.
