They call but hang up when I answer.   Since I have no outstanding debts I would like to know why they are calling.

This number is from a collection agency that handles medical institutions such as hospitals and doctors across the nation. If you owe any type of medical payment these people will call. They go by 2 names that I am aware of...Amcol & Walker and Walker and are located in Columbia, S. Carolina.

No need to tell them to stop calling because they won't until all bills are paid. Refuse to pay them and begin paying the medical facility that turn it over in the first place...anything to help run the pesky debt collectors out of business--if they don't get paid they can't stay in business now can they? LOL

Calls incessantly! I've demanded my name be removed from their call list. They still keep calling and keep trying to obtain information.

if they were such a professional debt collector then why aren't they (1) leaving a message (2) giving me time to call them back (3) calling all times of the day several times throughout  week ..... I do have some small debt (mostly medical where insurance didn't pick up) but I am going to answer, ask who I owe and what amount, and that company's phone number. From what I have already read on these sites most the time the person hangs up or gets rude anyway. So much for being professional and collecting a "real" debt.  scammers get a life!

Keep calling about a bill that was already paid.  They seem very resistant to contacting the hospital to verify that I paid the bill months ago.  Very annoying.

I too get calls from this number and a couple of others...I have answered the call once...and found that they are trying to collect for medical bills owed...or at least that is what they say...however, I would not, by any circumstances give them ANY personal information at all...with my own medical situation, I KNOW I have unpaid balances that were left over after my medicare paid them...but harassing me is NOT going to get them paid...as the old saying goes, they can't get blood from a turnip, and medical costs today have gone beyond most folks' capability to pay the left over balances...especially for those of us that are only receiving SS disability..as I said, I don't care if they are legitimate or not...regardless they ARE harassing folks.

I have received numerous calls from this number. Yesterday I was able to answer my cell phone and this man was very vague wanting me to say i lived somewhere i did not nor am i who he was looking for instead of him hanging up he wanted to  stay on the phone and harass me after I told him he has the wrong number  person not known. I honestly thought of terrorist because of everything going on and he just was persistant of me stating where i lived... this is kind of scary and I did not appreciate it he apparently thought it was cute i did not.For all i know he could be a stalker ,killer, rapest, terrorist. This company has went over the line with the tactics.

Find out to whom they say you owe money and hang up and call that business line personally. Do not call numbers that were given to you by the stranger on the phone. Look up your creditors business phone number in the yellow pages or on your bill. These scammers are working hard to take your money. It's easy for them to know your birth date and even your SS number so don't be fooled by the information they already know. Let's shut these scammers down.

Each time they've called, I've spoken to them in Polish.  Then I say, with a Polish accent, "No know English now."  They hang up.  Since I know I don't have any unpaid debts, I know the call isn't for me.

What, answered the phone and got the silent treatment?  Maybe he could intervene next time and stop these silent callers from pestering people...

this phone number: 1-803-217-3815 keeps calling my cell phone -- when I pick up, I wait for someone to say something/anything after I say Hello about 5-10 times - then wait as I hear someone on the other line hang up the phone on me.

Have gotten several calls from 803-217-3815 recently, the latest being this morning--my day off--as I was trying to sleep in.  I never answer calls from phone numbers I'm not familiar with.  Please stop these unwanted, invasive phone calls.

You can call your phone company and they should be able to block the numbers.

They called and when I answered, they hung up on me!!!
