I keep getting calls also from this number 804-256-9874 and from and 7 other numbers in VA area. They do not answer when I pick up and when I call right back the number is not in service. I filed a complaint with the FCC and they said this is called spoofing and illegal. They told me to also file a complaint with the FTC. I did this also. FCC number is: 1-888-225-5322 FTC number is 877-382-4357

I've already entered a few of these Virginia numbers, all of which appear to belong to the same telemarketing company, "Auto Care."  They are trying to sell auto insurance.  They don't leave messages, don't pick up when you call them back (sometimes I get a "voice mail full" message, but more often it's an "invalid phone number" message - indicating that they are spoofing the caller ID).

If you DO pick up, you'll get typical cold calling tactics: ignoring anything you say so they can stick to script.  On occasion I have had one of them hang up on me in the middle of my telling them that I was not interested.

They seem to have a VERY outdated, and highly suspect, call list; the "person" they ask for is a decreased rabbit who hasn't been around in over 6 years.

Its a telemarketer.  I didn't even let them talk to find out from where before I hung up.

getting tired of these jerks calling my number I only wish that there was
a way to stop the calls. I called the number back and it is not a working
number so they can keep me from calling them but they can call me!!!!!

another va. call hangs up when the answering machine tells them leave a number...............i do not answer numbers i do not know.........
