Also I have transferred to a different school much better from the previous one which was Ashworth College.

I have relocated because of all this hrassment and abuse. I am no longer at the address that you all have and all contacts in regards to me have been deleted. All the information that is onlin about me is not true. People telling lies and harassing me so I have moved and no further communication in regards to me is available. Someone is harassing me using my Identiy! I want them to stop and reomvoe all of my name from this site and all other sites! I have filed a police report agianst this site and other sites such as complaintsboard.com and ripoffreport.com that continues to illegaly harasse me! Stop THIS HARASSMENT AT ONCE!!!

This phone # goes to ECMC.    ECMC is a Federal Student loan finance company.   If you default on your loan with them they may make arrangements to take all or a portion of your Federal income tax (because they are part of the Federal system).   As a prior poster suggested, you may want to look at moving your loans to another private finance company.   However, contacting your State Attorney General (or Lori Swanson specifically) is not necessarily a good idea and in fact is counterproductive unless ECMC or your loan company has specifically violated the provisions of the FDCPA as listed here   http://www.ftc.gov/os/statutes/fdcpa/fdcpact.shtm  

It is important when dealing with ECMC or any debt collector to document very specifically each call, email, letter, etc.

Please call Attorney General of the state of Minisota Lori Swanson there office will help you. They also helped me to consolodate my loans from ECMC with William D. Ford Foundation or Direct Loans. I don't have any more problems now. But you have to keep up with your payments and keep all of your documents. So if you are have problems with ECMC get out as fast as you can. Or they will scam your funds! I hope this helps!

I'm on automatic payments with ECMC. Every month they run my card. Recently, my bank issued new cards to a ton of customers. I called ECMC to gave them the new card number and keep getting transferred to voice mails. No matter where I called, or what option I chose, I kept getting transferred to a voice mail. They don't have any numbers published where you can call and make a payment. When you ask the representatives for a number, they say there isn't any number and then you are transferred to someone's voice mail. I'm now on my 5th day trying to contact them to pay the bill and have gotten no where. I even sent emails. My representative was very nice, but I can't believe there are no other ways to get a payment. It seems like it's set up for you to fail. They will probably charge me a late fee. This is nuts! What company doesn't want to get paid?

Yes, this company ECMC is a debt collections agency. They are very rude people and they like to harass threaten and steel your money so if you have a student loan just make sure that ECMC is not your garauntee agncy. If they are then leave as soon as you can. Try to consolodate your loans with William D. Ford Foundation or Direct Loans. They are all about the same and you really have to do a lot of research before you sign on to any student loans lender. Best thing is do your own research and don't let the school or any college set you up without doing the research yourself. Good Luck!

made payment arrangement with ecmc to pay off my loan,they got two payments from my account and didn't attempt to get the other payments and they placed my account for gurnishment ,which is very unfair to me,I can not afford to pay the 500 dollars a month they are taking from my check

ECMC are the folks who guarantee your Financial Aid loans.  Got a call because I missed a payment to the bank I got a loan from.
