I just got the exact same phone call this morning from the same indian guy. I didn,t believe that it was Microsoft so I also asked him where I can reach him later after verification and he gave me 804-435-5332.

Just got a call today from a supposed tech rep from Windows/Microsoft
claiming that all window users were in dire need of removing virused that could wipe out their computer. I repeatedly asked for proof of how I would know that this was indeed Microsoft. Was then passed onto a supervisor.
Asked that person then how I would know they were from Microsoft. He told me their office was in Charleston West VA..and all I had to do was follow his directions to get out the viruses..I told him I already had the best internet security out there/Kaspersky, but he claimed that it wouldn't work for the massive viruses hitting all windows owners. I objected to following his directions to put 'run' into the subject box at Start, then berated me for not being computer savvy. I then got online and found the REAL Microsoft tech dept...that rep with Microsoft told me it is a hugh scam that Microsoft is well aware of..and that if I had followed the directions of the scammer that they would have had access to my computer and be able to do whatever, even identity theft. And yes, the scammer was also an Indian, as was the woman who called me and then turned me over to a rep. Beware of SCAMMERS! The strange thing is that the call came in on this number..288-918-6555, but when I asked the guy his name/David Thomas he gave me 804-435-5332.

Same as above, Said he was from microsoft and my computer had a virus. He gave me

Same scenario as above. Caller was East Indian. Said he was from Microsoft Windows Service Center and that he was calling me because my computer had a virus. He gave me this number to call: 804-435-5332. I told him it was a scam. He denied it. I didn't believe him.

Caller was Indian. Said he was from Microsoft and wanted access to my computer to look at a virus problem I was having. There is no way he would know this. I asked for a number to call him back. He gave me 804-435-5332.
