Called and hung up right away. They never answer me when I answer.

Oh my, I just got a call about my ex-husband!  I haven't seen or heard from him in over 20 years.  How did they get my phone number under my new husband's name!  This is insane!

Getting unsolicited calls from 804-441-8911. Not anyone know to me.

Got a call from 804-441-8911 and came up as 'wireless caller' on caller ID asking for a person with same last name --- knew it was a scam of some sort ... they tried to pressure me as to whether I knew the person stating to me 'it's a simple yes or no' so I asked them 'will you tell me your business name'?   And so we reached an impasse --- creepy.   This has to be a financial scam or collections type of agency.

Got a call from this number for a person I know that lives more than 3,000 miles away!

804-441-8911 called my home number today, and knew my last name, and said they were actually calling about one of my neighbors. They stated her name and address, which is a few houses from where I live. They asked if I knew her, I stated I didn't, and the caller was quite disappointed I didn't. She said she was hoping I did because they have been trying to get in contact with them regarding a business matter.

I find this call highly unusual and suspicious. It sounds like  Collection Agencies are calling neighbors of those they on collecting on to embarrass them into paying a debt. Is this legal? If this is the new way of collecting on people, it is horrible, just horrible.

Just got a call from this number. Didnt pronounce my name correctly, so must be someone trying to collect from me who is unemployed.

Fyi,... when the collector agent called you and telling you her or his name which is not ( the correct or fake name ) arcoding to their actual employment identity,.. Note: whereby in the court of law which is known fraud identity and impersonator without authorization from the law.... Only the real law example (police, undercover cops) enforcement are allow to make contact with fake name in order to his job.

Therefore, for the collector agent matters, you can get a warrant arrest against the person for fraud and harrassement against you... ( If found guilty, he/she will be sentence to fine or jail under federal law)

At anytime when any collector agent call you and telling you that they want you to do payment, you need to tell them that you do not need a collector and you also tell them that you know who you owed the money either from credit card and you are making payment when you get your money straight... and just hang up the phone... If the collector agent trying to be smart, you need to tell them that you are recording this conversation and if they threadthen you, then you will get a warrant for their arrest for harrassment.... Do not worried about your owing money to any banker... because our country goverment also owed us alot of mopney and the congress is building thier tummy growing wealthy as we are suffering.... 804 441 8911 calling to find the name and number of people across the street from us.

been getting sporadic calls from this number for 3 months.  no one is ever on the other end of the line if I answer.  I saved the number and named it 'Ignore' so I wont pick up next time.

I just got a call from them too 3/10/10,
They wanted a lady named (we shall call her Sally...not real name. with the same last name as me....well its my mother in laws name) well.... I said this isnt her number but thats my mother in law and then the man says well she was born in 1987 she cant be your mother in law...haha i was like well this isnt her number then he says well I am trying to get in touch with her and then he tells me my father in laws name too...and then he tells me their address! It was so weird! So of course I call my mother in law and she calls them and gets it straight so she says...they said they were with URS.

She says its some fishing scam to find people. I have no clue. but I didnt like it.

Received call 12/16/2009 1:22 pm from someone looking for a person with the my last name and first name Yolanda.  Caller would not give info about who she was or why she was seeking this person.  She did give her first name, which I've forgotten.  When I insisted on identity, she terminated the call.

hmm I've been getting calls from the same number.And when I called back by blocking my number it said URS(?).

Just got a call from them.  Glad to know they are a collection agency so I don't talk to them again.

If I had to guess, I would say that it's a person by the name of Christie, who is a grizzled collections veteran of the not-so-nice stereotypical variety, associated with Nex-something area collections shoppe, which has a contract to collect for Tidewater Physical Therapy, which is probably among other accounts
