Received a call from an individual claiming to be Sheriff Ricky Clark from the Lamb County Sheriff's Office in Texas. Individual stated that he several criminal complaints with my name on it totaling $4,500.00. I contacted the Lamb County Sheriffs Office and that stated that it was a scam and is no way associated with their Department!!! This individual had my SSN and home address. Stated that if I did not pay $647.00 that a warrant would be issued for my arrest. Individual has also contacted my employer which causing me issues at work!

This Person called me as well stating he was from the Sheriff's County Department in Texas. He says that I have 2 days to contact him, if not than my local sheriff's department would arrest me. He didn't leave any detailed message.

I got a call from a sheriff Ricky Clark out of the lamb county sheriffs office. He said I owed in 398 dollars today or I would be arrested. He also told me if I was arrested I would end up owing over 5000 dollars he's a total scam artist I was told the only way I could pay back the debt was by using a green dot reload able credit card. Do not listen too this guy.

wow i recieved exactly the same call as you all and that was today 9-10-2013 i think its awesome that we are posting on here, but im taking it a step further and calling him every few hours , so far today ive called him 4 times to let him know that im investigating him and was just checking to see how he is, I have looked up other sites and found his other phone numbers so if he switches to one of them i will still find him. Its time we harass the harasser. the number he is now using is 806-496-3434 i for one will be calling him everyday until i get bored but i have alot of time on my hands. and isnt impersonating a police officer illegal. why is there not a bigger hunt for this guy most of these comments are a year old.

I received a msg at work stating to call sheriff Ricky Clark.  I just decided to return the call and heard an Indian accent and already knew it was a scam. Whats funny, I'm dual certified as correctional and police officer and are currently working in corrections. I'm not playing into this and neither should you.

That jerk has been harassing me for months.  I called the Tyler Sheriffs and Smith County Sheriffs Offices.  They told me it was a scam and to turn him in to Davidson County Metro for fraud.  And I did.  I recorded the conversation I has with him.  He's toast.

SECONDLY NO ONE IS GOING TO CALL ASKING YOU TO MAKE A WESTERN UNION PAYMENT TO SOME RANDOM PERSON WITHOUT GIVING THERE CONTACT NUMBER. HE ADVISED THAT THE CASE WOULD COST ME $7200 WHICH IS A LIE!

DON'T BE FOOLED INTO GIVING YOUR INFO. THIS NUBMER IS DEFINITELY BEING BLOCKED!

Im the criminal investigator that works at the Sheriffs office Ricky Clark is impersonating. DO NOT send him any money,, its a scam. I have more that 100 complaints against Clark. I have tracked him down to India.

I got the same phone call, they threatened to have me arrested if I didn't payback my loan, that was already paid, and I also reported it to the FBI Crime Unit

This guy has been calling my wife for 4 years trying to collect $2,500 from a "Mary Bonnet".  Calls have come from various area codes but the Indian accent guy is ultimately the one we speak to when we complain about the calls. We have never heard of Mary Bonnet. Today, 11/16/2012, we got another call and I called the number back - it was (806) 496-3429 - and this Indian accent jerk said he was Sheriff Ricky Clark of Lamb County, Texas and said that his Sheriff's department just received a complaint about "Mary Bonnet" two days ago and will quit calling. Yeah, right.

this has been a constant harrasment and Im defintally calling the authorities, he states he is a sherriff and even got into it with my boss. Wow! Im shocked and confused

I received again a message from a RICKY CLARK SHERIFF FROM TEXAS...stating I was going to jail blahhh ...This is definately a scam and I have been in contact with the State Dept in Florida, AND the various departmenets across Florida that handle these cases. Each time someone gets these calls, they should report so that these jerks can be stopped. Your local police dept will verify that there are no warrants and to be sure to report all cases. I also agree that if someone is posing as a sheriff, that they should be prosecuted to the fullest.. The number that I was called from is 806-496-3429. One digit off.

This idiot left a message at my fiances place of employment with the same story that a warrant will be issued for his arrest. Heavy Indian accent. I called the real Lamb's County Sheriff and they immediately knew it was for a Ricky Clark and validated that it is a scam and has been turned over to the FBI. What I do not understand is how the real Sheriff's in Texas have not tracked this moron down when his phone number is quite easily tracked. I can track any cellphone/phone via GPS and Sat. Nav. and exact address from where it originates. I think it is time to send in The Lone Ranger and his faithful sidekick Tonto and wipe this/these scumbags off the planet earth. Anyone who got calls from a Ricky Clark a sheriff from Lamb County is being scammed because Lamb County is in the far northwest part of Texas. So what sheriff from a BFE town almost in the middle of nowhere doing calling to tell you that you owe on a debt that may not be valid. I checked the account that my boyfriend and I jointly shared and any pay day loan he took out was valid, but it cleared the bank as being repaid. Yet these fools from the America Law Enforcement Department claim my boyfriend was being investigated for check fraud and money laundering when he's never engaged in either crimes. I called them as a trick to say we have the money and to get an address to send it just to gather enough to report this to the police in IL and Texas where the phone number originated from. It's amazing these foreigners come here thinking the American dream is to scam people of money they don't owe by posing as debt collectors and threatening people telling them if they didnt pay the police will carry out a warrant for their arrest. Here's what those idiots arent aware of is that debt collectors will be fined heavily if they threaten a person who owes a debt and they also will be cited for multiple counts which could put them out of business. They also can't say a warrant has been issued for their arrest because a simple debt doesnt warrant someone going to jail and usually debtor would seek a wage garnishment which is legitimately served, but that's to take a percentage of someone's wages to pay down a debt, but that's only done when the debtee can't pay the amount back in full and its paid. The fact that this is happening to innocent people who are getting scammed out of millions of dollars for debts they don't even owe on.

I keep getting calls from this and other numbers saying the same thing.  Said he was from texas sherrif office, couldnt understand the name of the city.  I am thinking about calling the sherriff's office in the county that the call came from.  He was trying to sound like he had a southern accent!!  I am from the south and he has that all wrong!  He said his name was Ricky Clark.  Didn't sound like a ricky...lol

They try and scare you into paying they buy these old payday loans that weren't paid off then try and collect, appperently the payday loan people sell ALL your info, to these jerks, just ignore them or threaten a lawsuit they will back off

States the same thing and i told him that I was going to report him to the attorney's general office and that I would need all his information and he was hesitant! He also gave me a tax ID # 704-67-8601. USAFAST CASH. Never heard of them and I stated we will need to get back to him and him with his accent kept say yeah yeah!

I got a call today from Rick Clark telling me I was going to be aressted in 14 hours. told me I had a loan out from pay max. I told him I never got a loan and I have no idea where lamb county is in Texas

I received a message on my answering machine from a Ricky Clark, who supposely was a sheriff in Texas.  He stated that an arrest warrant was going to be issued on me.  
when I called back I got an answering machine.  The guy on the machine had an indian accent and I was told to leave a message. I took out a payday loan and was really freaking out, but then I saw this post and now I feel much better>

The same guy kept calling me and threating me to send money or else. So I checked and found out it is a scam. Wonder how much money he has scamed out of people. I received the same call that all three of you received, I called them back with a lawyer and they cannot give them any information or pull any records or money being deposited into my account, at first they would get me scared but I learned how to deal with them, My lawyer asked  what month? How much? and send all the documents to him they could not forward any papers to them. yes I have had payday loans and i think it is a good thing but everytime you go on the net to do the paperwork your name and all your information goes out there, it is only Indian people
