They call all hours of the day or night leave no message and once I got on with a girl and she said she would take my phone number off.  What a joke because they called again?  I did report them to the no call list, but I don't know if that will stop them either from what I have read of other people. Next thing to do is I guess is have no damn phone!

I received a call today (6-28-10) from 813-333-8999 with an introductory recorded message that offered an interest rate reduction on my credit card.  In order to speak with someone, I was told  press the 9 key.  As soon as a live person came on, I asked her to identify what company she represented but she said she represented over 500 VISA and MasterCard credit card companies.  I told her the introductory message implied it was a call from my credit card company and to identify which of my credit cards they were calling about and what company she represented but she said if I had $3000 or more on a credit card balance with 10% or more interest, they could help.  Realizing this had nothing to do with my existing cards, I told her she was being very rude by not properly identifying herself or the company she represented, I demanded she remove my name from her calling list and never call my home again.

I got a call from 813-333-8999  but did not pick it up.  When I checked it out I found out that it is a real problem number.  I do not pick up if I do not recognize the number.  Don't want to waste my cell minutes

I have received a call from 813-333-8999.  They call and hang up.  and several from a Sherman Oaks number.    I am on the Do not call list.  I didn't think we would get these calls.  I have spoken to others and they have received calls from this company.  How do we stop these people.

Pas, it's a randomly dialed number and once you answer, you confirm the number is working and they sell your number as an active number.  From there, you'll start to receive calls from Unknown Caller, Unknown Name, Unknown Number.  That when the creepiness starts because although I never pick up (after learning what's going on), I made the mistake of picking up when I thought it was my bank calling (though I owe no one), it was a fake scam telemarketer and within seconds after hanging up, I got the Unknown caller and Unknown name and number calls, and, they have never stopped.  They know that we can't report them because no number comes up, it's astounding and mind boggling.  Basically, being harassed by god knows who and no one can stop these maggots.  813-333-8999 called me, and, cursed at me when I ask them to remove my number, they are so defiant they said that the do not call list can't stop them--I contacted the do not call list, and, wonder, who really does have the powers here.

I pressed 9 and waited and waited, a man came on and when I ask them to remove my number he said okay and hung up in my face, I didn't realize it so when I said, "don't you want my number so you can remove it" He'd already hung up in my face.  Meaning they'll be calling again and again, and, a friend of mine said their employees curse people, threaten them, and laugh about the do not call list.  I can't believe that in essence, it's okay to stalk by telephone, harass by telephone, interfere with people's lives and ring them at all hours of the day and night, and, no one can stop this.  Truly, if the government wanted to they can shut down all these scam companies, and, the telephone companies could provide us with one button to push (like computer/spam), and, send these numbers and their companies straight to law enforcement/the government.  But, someone's making BIG bucks off these companies, so, it will never stop, they will keep calling.  A-holes.  I appreciate Belrias's information about this company, will definitely be looking into what she wrote.

I called the consumer protection agency and they said they have been getting a lot of complaints i did a reverse look up and the number comes out of land o lakes Florida near Tampa  but did not give a name

First time they called, but I understand there will be many more if I don't report it. There was a pre-recorded message that started the same time my answer machine picked up. Couldn't understand what it said, and it shut off right away.

recorded message indicated my credit card rates are increasing...what cards?? how did they get my PRIVATE cell phone #?? I called the # back and got message that the person is not taking calls at this time.

2d call from this company; a recording concerning interest on a credit card..I am on the do not call list so this call should have never reached me in the first place.

Just received my 2d call from this company..whoever they are..it is a recording..i hang up the minute they mention credit card..I am on the do not call list which apparently does not do any good as this company should have never had my cell number in the first place.

I don't have a credit card so I knew it was bogus.  I pressed 9 to get more information so I could turn them in.  The man hung up on me.  I too am on the do-not-call list.

This company will not stop calling my cell and I am on the do not call list.  A lot of good that did!

Turn them into the FFC complaint website -

Just another automated spam call   - if you get a live person they will not give company name, address or telephone number.  Say they are a credit card debt help service.  I turned them in to the national no call list and the FCC site for the automated call.

Hopefully enough folks with turn them in to the FCC and stop this...

If they will not give the company name and calling from a wireless phone so maybe a scam?

Some guy just won a settlement worth 1.5 million because of harassing calls. He owed less than $200.00 to someone, I think it was Bank of America and the collectors left vulgar messages. The guy recorded every call and just won his law suit. Now if they did it to one, there are many more out there. Stop being harassed and do something about it.  This company or telephone number calls me once a month looking for someone else and I tell them they have the wrong number and all hell breaks loose. I have recorded 6 calls so far. This has got to stop.

I got this call when I pressed 9 to speak with someone to let them know to stop calling my cell phone the guy that answered was a complete a-hole!!  The I asked to speak with a supervisor and he kept calling me a b***h... I have already reported this number to the Better Business Bureau because they won't even give you the name of their company, he said "Oh yea, you think you reported an International company to the BBB you B*tch" I asked again to speak with the supervisor and he said "Sure, his last name is Tone and his first name is Dial" then hung up.... this convo went on before he hung up with me for 5 mins and the ENTIRE time he called me obsene names, and wouldn't give out any information about the company..... How do these people get cell phone numbers if you are on the Do Not Call List??
