I also received a call from 8136448761 and when I call back they stated that I owe a bill that I paid years ago. I laugh because they are scamming  people. Should get a real job and stop stealing  from innocent  people. When they call just hang up don't  beleive them. They need to be arrested n both arm cut off so the cannot pick up a phone.

Dont worry about giving them the four last number of your ss,because they need the whole number. This is a scam because they call me also. This bill was in 1999 which I paid. They find old bills and try to make you pay for it.  Please be careful what you tell them.

Years ago I worked in car repossessions for one of the top banks worldwide. A lot of times, companies will sell defaulted debts (credit cards, car loans, medical, etc) to companies by the bulk. Companies such as these people (subsidiaries) can shift within the dame parent company. That's why you see that medical debt that wasn't supposed to be there in the first place- keep popping up under other names. Hoping you'll get sick of it & pay up. I even met a girl while I worked there who told me when they buy these portfolios, sometimes there isn't a SS number in these files (let's say you are Bob Smith from Orlando, Fl) so they will literally pin that bill on anyone matching up closely to that description. I couldn't believe it either. So maybe this explains why people are getting these calls who owe no debt. You CAN NOT be arrested for a bad debt. (Unless, of course, it's a bad check or something like that)
There is also an ace card. If you just can't deal with it anymore, tell them to "cease & desist". They, by law, must give you 30 days to inform them in writing the same words. But keep in mind, if you say these words & you are defaulting on a car loan- it will not stop them from getting your car. You may cut off the only form of communication at a critical time. I've heard of some companies who won't even mail you warnings when this has been said. It may sound like a dream come true- but just be warned. Also. Just to clear up... There are no states in which a debt collector can not call on Sundays. But, there are specific hours as well as persons to whom they can speak to. Even in some states you have to give verbal or written consent for your spouse to speak with them.

They call and would not say what they want . They told me there name  and when I called them back I told what happened and then they ask me how I was and then they keep say did I here you say yes  and when I ask your how head of them to talk to them they put me in hold for a bet so I have up..

Received phone call from this agency under this number. Same as above, please call, matter of emergency, and left a number to call back. Glad I researched this issue as I will not be phoning them back and will refuse any future calls from them.

Got a call from a 757 area code (va) left a message because a "very important" file had come across in my name. I think not. I pretended to be someone else. They were phishing. They asked if I knew the person they were calling for, if I was a relative, if the person, was married and were they working. Wtf? Seems like their "file" would contain a little info..

These clowns just called did not id them selves, said something about a past something or other and then the moron states that it was a refusal to pay for what???? Yes it is Dynamic Recovery Service. The try to collect so-called past so-called debts and try to get you to say things. Do not give them any chance to say anything. Just hang up. No names, no nothing! Did not even ID themselves. But good old darling told them I was not at home. But gave them my work number. Time to file a FTC complaint..

Really??? From 2 decades ago??? I just said I didn't need to speak with her, then hung up. I've added their 2nd phone number to my phone ID, so I don't repeat the mistake.

Got a call from 813-644-8761 asking for my Fiance. Asked if I could take a message, that he was not available. She asked if I had a pen and paper as if I was not ready to take the message. I said Yes. She said her name was Nancy, never gave a company name, that is was VERY IMPORTANT that he give her a call. (Notice the phone numbers DO NOT match?) She asked about an address that was ours prior to now, said that a file had come across her desk that it was, again, VERY IMPORTANT that he call back. She then asked if he was at work. I said Yes. I then asked what it was in reference to and I was rudely told that she could NOT tell me that Federal Law prohibits her from telling me and that she could only to speak to him.  BS!  Not today, not ever lady!!!

Got a call saying I owed monies from 2003 when I was employed - retired since then. Said they were going to issue a Form 1090 or Form 1099 and I would have to file the monies that my previous employer owed on my tax return if I did not pay.

I rec. a call today wanting to verify my last 4 ss#. I didnot or will I do that over the phone with a company I dont know who it is. If a collection company and they didnot have my name right never the less I always pay my bill.

What business does a collection agency have to access your credit reports. I thought only places where you applied for credit and signed their paperwork was able to get your credit report. This is more government BS, maybe they should collect it from the government since everyone is too big to fail.

They are  Dynamic Recovery Solutions. They troll though credit reports and try to match the names in phone book lists. they recently called and sent a nasty letter to me trying to extort money out of me for a 22 year old debt (that was delinquent at the time but paid in full once I got a a job) to American General Finance (another bad group to associate with).  keep in mind that the statute of limitations in the state of Florida for this kind of debt is 4 years. do not return their calls  because they can then claim that you are doing business with them and have reopened the case... another 4 years

Have repeatedly gotten calls from them over the years.  I'm always very rude and they leave me alone for a little while.  It's total bs phishing.  I just called them back and told them very rudely with many expletives to stop calling me and trying to get information.  I was told that it's illegal to cuss on the phone and that they would put a cease and desist on my number.  Hopefully that works.  I have no outstanding things on my credit so it's definitely a scam

Got a call today and message from "Kelly Sawyer" at DRS, it was Urgent matter that I return their call at (888) 402-0960.  Called from number:  713-588-0965

Called ask to call back. had important problem we need to take care of. Never said it was a debt colllector.

Call them back and just say SCAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAM (I did this five times in a row and now when I call they have my number blocked, it just beeps busy)

I have no debt, they are phishing for your information! Don't be a victim! Harass em back! Keep calling, its funny how you get the same 3 agents over and over ;)

Ddi they ask for the last four of your social to verify?

Received an urgent call from Mr. Stein asking me to call back as soon as possible at an 866 number. As with the other reports, the number the call came from (813) did not match. Used Boosie's advice and went to their website where there was a Chat option. The chatter had my name and then asked for the last four of my social to provide the name of the debtor and amount. The debtor is no longer in business and the amount was thirty-five times what the credit limit was on the card! I gave the last four of my social, wanting the details and thinking that I was safe doing that, but am now worried that I gave too much information. Any advice?

I received a call from them yesterday regarding a PDL from Money and More in 2008.  I did take this advance, but also paid it back when it was due in 2008.  I told her that I knew this was a scam, that I wasn't going to play her game and told her to stop calling and bothering me with this bs.  She said "have a nice day" and hung up.  This is such crap and I simply refuse to play the game or to be scared or upset by it.  I haven't heard anything back since yesterday and hope I don't....but if I do the message from me will be the same....f-off!

received a call from ms. walker stated they needed a call back about urgent matter at there office made it seem as if someone was in trouble or needed assistance but at the end of the call you hear this is an attempt to collect a debt did not state name of company. I didn't call back.

Just got a call from the same number, let it go to voice mail. I have only recently got the cellphone number, and got a bunch of weired calls over the last few month. This one is clearly topping it off. The caller claimed that he is a Mr. McLane "from the office" and he has an "urgent matter to discuss". He ended with the statement that this is an "attempt to collect a dept." He clearly seemed not to have a clue who he was calling.

Does anybody have a clue if there is a law, state or federal, that would be violated by Mr. McLane? This kind of behavior doesn't seem right to me.

This is Dynamic Recovery Solutions. they tried to collect on debt that doesn't exist. but was reading from my credit report made threats too. this is a tampa florida number but website shows they only have offices in Greenville, NC. Definitly shady company. When I asked them to send documation of debt as they are required by law to show proof, I was told that they wouldn't do that and I would get filed as a refusal and they would file a lawsuit and tax liens.

This is a debt collector agency assigned numbers to collect debts. They assumed I was someone with a debt and asked for a social security number. I would not give it out and then they repeated it, it was incorrect.  Don't know haw they got the cell number but their information was incorrect and it is harassment.

I recevied a voice message from Mr. POE stating it's an urgent matter and i must return his call at 866-421-4920. He stated it's regarding a bad debt. I don't have ANY abd debt.

whoever these people are, I fully intend to find out.  this is a local number to me.  someone called a relative about a debt from 1995 that we doubt even existed.  my relative was driving the car, and the guy told her "well you need to pull over right now and talk to me".  he was very rude.  Well, he picked on the wrong person!!!

Said I had important papers that needed to be signed in there office today, will not answer numbers I don't know anymore..
