I keep getting calls from this number. No message was left.

Called with the Walmart gift card thing. Had last four numbers of my debit card. Has to be the acai berry thing. Have contacted bank and am getting new card. Telemarketer said it was TMI. Callers name was Alex Orango or so he said. Other numbers to call for removal of your phone # are 866 318 5007  866 525 6608  888 302 1248 I am notifiying local Sheriffs dept. and Attorney General in NC, my home state. Called once today. did not answer it.probably looking for person who used to own this number as i am making new friends via other numbers who are looking for a "Majorie Glassburn" that I "Lie" about not knowing her where-abouts. Would not give me any information about her or "OUR" account.A**holes.

Called a guy in my office. some loud mouth b!#@() tried telling him he won some stuff. havent called back yet but hes calling verizon now to block the #.

CALL EVERYDAY WITH LAST 4 DIGITS OF MY SS# TELLING ME THAEY HAVE A GIFT CARD FOR GAS 1 TIME WALMART THE OTHER BUT NEEDED ME TO VERIFY MY CREDIT CARD # TO PROCESS. I HAVE ASKED THE TO NOT CALL ME AGAIN BUT CALLS HAVE INCREASED SINCE MY REQUEST.

This is interesting because I just started getting these phone calls too & no one leaves a message & it's on my business line that they keep calling. Normally I don't back anyone who doesn't leave a message because I figure it wasn't that important. So since they kept on calling, I finally called them & did talk with someone who didn't tell me who they were with but represented the company to whom I made a purchase with within the last 6 months evening with my last 4 digits of my acct #. He said I won $200 worth of free gas from Walmart & something from Target. Well I told him I couldn't verify the acct # & I was driving & I could call him back. He said that was fine & he would suspend my winnings. I asked him what the purchase was & he said he didn't know, but it was within the last 6 months. He did tell me I would have to pay $9.75 for just the shipping of their special service packages that they offer & had no obligation to use it but stll had to pay for it. Well my husband is a police officer & he deals with fraud & scams & said if you have to pay for something that you have won, it's a scam.
This morning I googled the # & found it belongs to LD Barnes Properties (possibly a time share). I also did purchase the free trial of the acai berry pill that didn't work & didn't act upon it. So that may have been my purchase.
My husband did say the best thing to do is to call your credit card company & let them know they have contacted you & to be aware of any suspicious payments put on your card & to call your cell ph company so you wont be charged. At least you made them aware & don't answer a ph call with a # you don't recognize.

Did you buy poison from scammers like acai? Or get tricked into a "free trial"? If so you were identified as a potential victim for more scams and that's why you are being called.

Kept getting these calls as well. Tried calling back but no one answered.After reading these messages, I contacted my phone service provider, Bresnen Communications, and found out that they do have a caller restriction program to block unwanted numbers. It was very simple to initiate and free of charge. I suggest you contact your phone service provider and see if they have same. Best of luck

Have been getting these calls 3-6 times daily for a week, they just hung up, then today 1/12/10 someone is on the other line, saying they have my old address, and m/c number, I too was suckered into that acai berry crap, and took me forever to get my money back through my bank.. Luckily they have a wrong cc number since that card was replaced through my bank for fraudulent charges the company had put on me I was livid.. How do we get these calls to stop?!?

Thanks for your great information... this was a major boost to my own research. From following up on this it appears that LD Barnes Properties may be the owner of the complex that they are in... although that would be a bit weird that the rentor would also be supplying the phone services, but it is also normally a bit suspicious that a call center would be operating out of an apartment building.
I did a bit more research and it appears that possibly at least one other business operates out of this building... the next step would be to break down the relation between LD Barnes and TMI
(although I have found one thread online about a David A Taylor running Trident Marketing but I'm still checking into that).

Trident Marketing also has/had a location at 4410 West Hillsborough Ave., Tampla Florida 33614-5421 (Suite F)- it's in the same shopping center as Get Hip Studios (maybe Ronda can help us), Link Staffing and Services, Tropical Real Estate Title Services, etc. None of these mentioned businesses are connected with Trident Marketing as far as I know, they are simply all located in the same shopping center. At this location there's also a Subway, a Mexican restuarant next to it, and a UHaul building... if that helps for gathering information about this suspected dubious business.
The number itself- 813-741-1571 traces back to the Zackary Circle from what I have seen so far. I did a further information search on Zackary Circle and it appears that at least one or two other businesses show up in this apartment complex. I'm not sure if the business has set up shop in a small apartment or suite or if they are simply running out of the home as well.
History of Trident Marketing has lead to complaints of a man that has started up several of these telemarketing style "businesses". The information that I got at the time was a "David A Taylor". There are several David A Taylors in the Tampa area of Florida and he could be out of the immediate area.
Final note... a pervious phone number for the Trident Marketing site at the shopping center is 813-874-3368. This may or may not still be correct/active.

This is NOT Verizon, it's a scam related to the Acai berry product or some scam product related to this organization that we likely have all bought sometime in the last few months.

Same deal here, guys. Calls 4-6 times a day with no messages left. I called back three times in 2 days and entered my phone number to be removed. It said to wait 24 hours. Of course, it didn't work. Today after work I tried again and instead actually got someone on the line. The lady explained that she wanted to send me a free $200 walmart giftcard to thank me for a purchase I had made for a product of theirs. She did not explain what product and when. However, T-N-T, I think you are absolutely correct. I, too, was scammed into buying the Acai product and had to open an investigation with Wells Fargo to get my money back. I won, of course, receiving the money I was out, but it took months to obtain. When I declined the "free giftcard," the lady got frustrated asking why I would decline such a thing in this economy. I nearly told her I was a legitimate bill collector myself and didn't need help from someone who is a mere nuisance. I asked her to remove my phone number once again to which she informed me it takes 72 hrs to have your phone number removed. Not only was the acai scam a pain in the a**, but now they're calling me. Honestly.

Must be hang-ups. Couldn't catch it the first time. Called back to have my number removed, getting more calls and the 48hr period they say is needed before it stops has passed. I'm fearful of who it is and their motive.

I asked right away what the name of the company was.  I did not comfirm any of the information they were giving over the phone.  She said her name was Tyrisha and that she was new and she said the name of the company was Trident Marketing.  She did not say whether it was Trident Marketing Inc. or Trident Marketing International Inc.  I do not know it they are two different companies or one in the same.  She said they were an affiliate of Acai-fit.  Which I had been scammed into buying thinking all I would pay is the shipping. WRONG!  I think their main parent company is Called Nutritional Science Lab or the Health Center for Better Living.  1414 Rosemary Lane, Naples, Fl 34103-4217  Put it down in writing and write them a letter and tell them in no uncertain terms that you do not want them or their affiliated companies to contact you by phone, email, or mail.  That if they do contact you that you will have to take further action.  Such as FTC or Florida Attorney Generals office.  Make of copy of your letter and send it by certified letter. That way you have proof that you sent it.

The first time I was called from this number, it was a hangup. Later, called again from this number and someone came on and had the last 4 digits of my credit card. She went into a promo about me getting a $200 dollar gift card from Walmart or for gas to participate in a trial.
When I asked about the details of how she obtained my name, number and last 4 digits of phone number she claimed she could not tell me.
It sound like this organization is trying to get you to commit to having your credit card debited for who knows what services every month.

Called back yesterday and input phone number to be removed from their list. Said it would take 24 hours, but called have increased since.

won't stop calling.  calls and hangs up.  when i call back, it says to enter my number to be removed from call list.  i did this and it did not work.

I have been getting numerous calls daily - caller ID shows as TMI. When I Google it, it shows numerous complaints from people receiving calls. I paid to search the # on Intellius and it shows three reports of individuals in Gibsonton, FL.  It also shows as LD Barnes Properties, yet my caller ID shows TMI. When you call the # back, it has a recording saying to enter your phone # to be removed. I've done this many times, yet I get 3-4 calls a day still. Carrier shows as Verizon Florida, Inc. Today I called, and I get a recording saying they value my call and to hold, but then hangs up. Called again, and I get music playing. I called Verizon, but because this spam caller is calling a non-Verizon landline (I'm on Time Warner Digital Phone), Verizon Florida refuses to take action staying that this caller/abuser is paying their phone bill and it's not illegal for them to call.  I called Time Warner for help and they said that Verizon is incorrect, it is illegal and they should stop their customer from harrassing others. My options are to change my home phone or contact the police as a civil matter.  Try calling Verizon Florida - Unlawful Call Center at 800-257-2969 or 800-837-4966. Verizon needs to control it's abusive consumers

If you have Verizion call star611 on your phone and verizion customer service WILL block the number for 3 months at no Charge to you

I looked into the number online and got an address of 10410 Zackary Cir Riverview FL 33569   Listed as L D Barnes properties maybe this will help,  there pissing me off too

k ive also been called serveral times by this number for two days now.  I called and did the removal of number off thier calling list with no luck.  Took it one step further got on line and  traced it to an Address of (10410 Zackary Cir Riverview FL 33569  Listed as L D Barnes Properties). On map view it looks like a apartment building not a buisiness.  if anyone has other suggestions to get rid of these calls LET US KNOW SOON!!!!

I started getting calls from this number on Monday. It was only one or two Monday and Tuesday but today, since 10:37a.m. until 18:56 I've gotten 6 calls. My cell carrier is Sprint and I called them and I can't get it blocked but I can call the police and get a harassment report filed and then the P.D. can get in touch with some dept. within Sprint and then it can be traced. I'm not holding my breath.

I started getting calls from this number yesterday. It keeps calling yet I'm not sure why. I've never wanted my number removed from a call list. I feel these calls are random?

Called that number back yesterday and supposedly had my number removed but I am still getting the calls.  Tried to do a reverse phone lookup and the line is from Florida.
