Got one the day after I submitted my resume to Careerbuilder - are they selling phone numbers now?

I think Careerbuilder is selling phone numbers also.  After I submitted my resume, I started getting phone calls from crazy 800 numbers.  I get a few calls a day and it's really annoying.

I get calls from this number daily. who are these people.

I got a call from 813-775-4350 at 4:30pm on February 12, 2009. All they said was hello and then hung up. I did do a career app. on the net but it wasn't careerbuilder. They did want to know if i wanted info on going back to school. I don't remember if i said i wanted to or not.

CAREER BUILDER!!! Just receintly submitted info there! Called and left no message! Caller id says Florida call 2/12/09 5:01 PM

Now that I can see what is going on here. Caller ID everyday would read Florida, then today Student Services.
I answered today, because I am a student...
The girl said that I had requested information online about furthering my education. I told her that was not true, I  would not do that online. She asked if I wanted further information and I told her no. She replied, "Okay, Thank you." and hung up.

I will report the call as telemarketer.

Career Builder is the culprit... After I submitting a resume online, I'm getting calls from this number and one other... PLEASE STOP!!!

I got a call from this number immediately after applying for financial aid online. This is very annoying, being as though it had to have been the FAFSA people that sold them my information. They never say anything when I pick up the phone. They need to be stopped! I have also been getting calls from degree street as well.

didn't pick up but this is the second time today.  first was from 800-973-0379.  I've been applying for jobs online and that seems to be where they got my number from (according to everyone here).

These people are calling and not leaving any info. STOP!!!!
