Got a call from a guy who says "Hi Will, it's Pat, gimme a call back as soon as possible," Like we're all chummy buddies or something. Only thing I saw that was wierd was the phone number that came in had two extra numbers on the caller ID. 863-813-283412 Wierd. Guess it must be a VOIP thing dunno.

I recieved a call from Central Legal Services about my MINOR son stating that he owes over $5000!! and they wanted me to settle for $500.... at the time the 'account" was opened my son was only 4 years old! i asked for the origanil debetor... i called them and NO ACCOUNT to be found!! hmmm well needless to say... they retracted the claim and no longer will return my calls.. i even called the credit bureas and NOTHING is on his credit... i now have a lawyer. and he is taking care of them. becareful dont pay ANYTHING!!

I just received a call from them saying they are taking me to court and I need to have my attorney call them with in 48hrs or warrant will be sent for my arrest. what can I do/?

They didnt say who it was or what company it just said you need to call & they left 813-863-1961 and said to pass information to your lawyer with a case number & that a restraining order is being filed against me....

got a msg about restrainig order on my husband thats crap hes home bound because of illness for 2 years now how could he have any kind of re order

I have received the same call from 813-863-1961, on March 16, 2011. they left the message on my machine. Called the number today and the recording says that all representive's are on the phone plese stay on line and someone would be right with me. But I love how people get all of your information correct, expecially where you work and live.

well i just called them and they stated they were going to send me a subpenia to goto court for a company called money & more states that i owe them a 1000,00 and they are willing to settle for 503.00 i told them i didnt have the money i am a single mother they stated the last address i lived at i told them i dont live there they were going to send it to my work

The actual phone number was listed as unknown so I did not answer it. They left a voicemail in which a man said this call was for so and so (but he had my last name wrong). He said his name was Special Investigator John Washington and that I was named as a respondant prusuint to some claim number and something about a restraining order and that I must call 813-863-1961 immediately and to pass this information on to my attorney (which I don't have) and that I had 24-48 hours to respond.

He did not list the name of the company he was calling for.
He did not list a verifiable reason for the message....he listed no debt nor that this was a debt collection agency
He called too early in the morning
He also called my mother...I have no idea how he got her number. He left the same message about me on her machine.
He had my name wrong.
Don't they have to serve you papers to take you to court? Also, I have never even been to Tampa FL.
If this is debt related they never mentioned it. (I have one outstanding cc debt for about $250 that I can't pay right now.)
After reading other complaints I realize this is just a scam company and if it is a debt collection they just violated a bunch of laws and I have the voicemail to prove it. I also reported them to the FTC and Florida Attorney General. I was able to find out through internet searches they are in Tampa, FL and if you call the number it's a message saying Sundial Legal Group.

I will not be giving them any information and if this happens again will seek legal action. They have no right to call my mother and they have no right to threaten a restraining order over the phone...I must be served papers I know that much.

Just got that message today. My Husbands credit is clear though. We just bought a house and had to go through the whole credit check. Does anyone actually owe this money? Because we don't. How can they get away with saying that you have a restraining order and a case being filed against you.

i got a message from this number last night that said it was for my husband and that our attorney should contact them in the next 24 hours, that a complaint had been filed against him and a restraing order had been filed they left an afidavid number...the lady said she was a special investigator.  i dont know what to do...i tryed calling the number back and was on hold for over 10 min. and still got the recording that all agents were busy...they have called family members and left the same exact messaage for them about my husband.  what do i do......????

I received a voice message stating they were special investigator and that I was named as a respondant prusuint to some claim number and something about a restraining order and that I must call 813-863-1961 immediately and to pass this information on to my attorney  and that I had 24-48 hours to respond.  I actually called the number and spoke to someone named Rhonda and she said she was a mediator to work a payment arrangement out.  I explained to her that I did not recall getting any loans out from a company called Money and Me.  They were saying I owed 1007.50 exactly.   It boggles my mind because I know that I would not skip out on paying anything off like that.  I am worried though because I never received any type of summons or anything like that, however I did live in the Tampa area at one point and they said they attempted to send me notices etc but I never received it.  I really do think I should contact an attorney for legal advice because it worries me that someone has that much information on me.  
Does anyone else have any suggestions? And do you think I should call them back?

Same thing happened to me. Got scared and pd lesser amount. Two days later I got served with papers! Now trying to reach them for settlement letter wont return calls. Could get ck garnished! What do I do know?

Got a call from Unknown name and private number , Claimed they were a Special Investigator named Robert Johnson and he filed an affidavitt and gave me a number. He then left a number to call him back (1-832-390-2131) Its a cell phone from houston texas. This is not the first time they tried to do this and the last time they were very rude.

i know where they     are located..........439 4th st 20th floor pittsburgh pa...the investment building.... they are called united process service corporation or central legal services........check it out if you really are looking for them, that's where you can find them...i was working for them, until i found out it was a scam.................................

HA!! This was great tactic! Just like the first post said, "Special Investigator"...something about that I hit a deer in a hit-n-run. It was a collection account!  THIS SHOULD BE FRAUD!!

This company called stating that there was pending legal action against me & that there had been several attempts to serve me a subpena. He threatened to have it served at my job unless I agreed to settle with them. He stated that I owed a ficticious company a settlement from 2007. Do not give in to them... this is absolutely a scam!

I also rec'd a call from Central Legal Services, 813-863-1961.  Their number showed as "private" with no telephone number on my caller ID.  Was told my husband had a "complaint" filed against him and was given a complaint number, and to call for the details.  Details??  The caller, Selena Moore said she was only the secretary there, and had no other information as to the nature of the complaint.  There is NO WAY anyone should call to inquire about it.  Just as the posters beforehand have said, if it's a legal matter, they will get in touch with you in writing.  REPORT it to the ftc and get on the national do not call list www.donotcall.gov

I want the word to keep going so I hope they can be stopped   I keep reporting on facebook to keep it fresh in everyones mind   I even went as far as call ATNT my cell phone company and ask them to spread the word about this company and they were more the happy to help spread the word   I am just hoping to that with the secret service agency will be able to shut them down.  Our locol newspaper also is posting about this company and warning people   I will not go away quietly.  We need more people like you and I that stay on top of this company and others like it to hopefully stop them. Awesome! It would be great to see at least one of these places go down! I'm glad that you are concerned with not letting this happen to other people. So many people I see post on here just go away when the harrassment stops. Apparently these illegal agencies are pulling in about 4k a day so obviously, they're still finding people who give in to them. I haven't had a call (knock on wood) in about a month but I browse through this site and see if anyone needs any help or answers that I may have. I obviously don't have all the answers but I want to at least try. I can't help but worry that someone's grandparents or elderly parents will get one of these calls someday and allow these dirtbags to wipe out their bank account and/or life savings. These scammers are unscrupulous. They obviously believe that they are above the law. They need to be knocked down a peg or two. And I want to do everything I can to help that happen!

they are not in tampa, florida they are up north....will give the address soon.....disgrutled consumer.....fake names, locations,and they move around from office to office...i am close to discovering thier location, somewhere between cleveland and west virginia.....
