I have been receiving several calls from these people, but have not yet been around to answer the phone. Has anyone gotten a company name from them?

These people have been calling me at least THREE times a DAY. I finally told them if they didn't stop I'd file a harassment suit against them.

This is nothing but a reputable marketing, printing, and direct mail company. I do believe that your information is incorrect. You should recheck your data.

Ok everyone. I did some digging. These calls are coming from a marketing company called:

82nd Meridian Marketing
5811 memorial hwy
Tampa, FL 33615

AND their ph number is 1-800-931-1718

When I try to call this number (which is listed on their website of 82meridianmarketing.com) it states this call cannot be completed from my area code. I gave them contact info (includig an e-mail address I opened just for companies like this) and told them I was interested in marketing techniques. When they call me I will lay into them and report back. Hopefully if we bombard them they will stop this calling.

They called me too.  have called 3 times over past few weeks.  I call back and the # is disconnected.

I'm glad I saw your problem because I just got a call from this number. They said they got my number from some company I made a visa purchase with. I will check my account for any weird charges. And then they are rude. I asked the girl don't call my sell phone and take me off the list and she said "you shouldn't have your number as a contact then" and hung up. I tried to call the number back to report that to a manager and it said the number was disconnected.

The caller has gotten my home number and the numbers on my credit card.  I became suspicious when I noticed a $3.05 charge on my account that I did not charge. I looked up the company and it just says Florida.  I started checking my caller ID for the past few days and have discovered that they have been calling my house two and three times a week.  I closed out my account because I felt that it had been compromised. $3.5 one day and the next time it could be $300+. Can you imagine how many people do not notice a charge of $3.05 and how much money these crooks can accumulate. I am not the one.  When I tried to call the number showing on my caller ID it says it is a disconnected number and is no longer in service.  How is this done? We are living in terrible times when people get individuals credit cards and make charges for their benefit.  Why is Florida so popular for this type of thing?
