got a call on my cell and home phone, i didnt answer...the guy says im being investegated and he cant tell me over my voicemail and hes a lawyer and to keep me from being arrested i need to contact him asap to keep from going to jail...i called the number back, every time the phone rung it did a double ring and no ever answered the phone

No one is being investigated, there are no warrants out for anyone's arrest, no one is going to jail for a payday loan, and this guy is not a lawyer.  He is probably not even calling from PA.  I received a call about a month ago from an 814 number tracked it back to what appeared to be the engineering building at penn state.  I didn't answer the call because I figured it was a scammer and probably a spoofed number.

I got this call today while at work. The person said he was an lawyer and i am under legal investigation. When asked what i was being investigated for he said, getting a 350.00 payday loan and not repaying. He said i was being charged with theft by deception, fraudulant transactions and two other things. I was so ticked off because I do not have payday loans. He started saying he was calling the police and they were taking me to prison. I am still waiting haha, but don't these freaking foriegn people that can barely speak english think everyone is stupid.

Scammers don't believe anything they say. DON'T GIVE THEM MONEY.

they also called me and said i would be arrested at my job or home with in the next 2hrs

Called my phone saying he a laywer and I'm being investigated. Wouldn't say why.  When i asked him whi he is and how he got my number he said if i didn't cooperate he would have me arrested. Then he hung up on me

called my house, left a message saying that if i did not call back the police was going to be called

ive got the same call from this person. when i call this number back, i get no answer.

Says he is alawyer named Alex Washington is this true oo not. Shows call cones from Winaube Pa.
