I shipped my to Washington, I sent him a laptop. I feel really stupid but wasn't thinking straight.

where did u ship the item to?

i received an identical email to send the item to a friend in washington.  then i received fake emails from paypal that luckily i checked into!

I wish I was able to research this more. I recently sold him an item of $260 and now I feel like s***. He told me he will wire me the money via PayPal once the item is received and I've never gotten my money... DO NOT make transactions with this guy. Learn from MY MISTAKE!

Both his emailed are ninisdance013@gmail.com and neww.me16@gmail.com. Derrick Jones is his name and now he says he is out of Washington. Hopefully someone reads this and can do something about this douche.

I have spent the past two days dealing with him from a craigslist ad.  11 emails between him and I. Claims his name is Derrick Jones. Same scenario cannot receive calls only texts-due to being too busy at work... and told me that my money would show up in my paypal account once i sent the item to him and gave paypal a confirmation tracking number.  Spoke to paypal they never do this.  If funds were put into our account it would show up they wont put a hold etc...Then the real catch was the fake paypal emails we received were addressed to the wrong person.  REDFLAG!!

He is a scammer! Sends fake PayPal emails saying he sent funds. I called PayPal and they say they see no funds that are pending. Do not send anything before you get a definite payment from this person.

It's a scam.  Report any contact to Craigslist, PayPal and your local police department.  This guy will transfer funds to your PayPal account, then tell PayPal that he never received the goods.  PayPal will refund his money and then take the money back from your account.  You will LOSE!

I posted an item and got a reply from this # to  buy and pay with PayPal. I'm nervous. What happened in ur transaction?  Does this sound the same?

This number belongs to a craiglist scammer, he only use it to accept text msg.  Dont ship any item to him if he use this number to communicate with you.
