two calls from this number, no message. I am on donotcall list. Oh, btw, I do not have a Wells Fargo acct. I think if it is a mortgage scam that it is...unaffiliated! :D  These calls make me glad I check caller ID before I pick up.

I got a call from this number,  didn't answer and they did not leave a message.

Listened to a bit and hung up as figured it was another scam from some company. On do not call list but it does no good. Just listed as Pennsylvania and the phone number.

I too am receiving calls DAILY from this number, # rings and they hang up..when I call back, I get a recording that says, 'This number is no longer in service or has been disconnected!" OK folks..time to fight back. I will also report it to the state attorneys office!

What I don't understand is: they call, don't leave a message but if you call the number back, you get a recording that says the number is disconnected/out of service......if the number is out of service/disonnected, then how the f__k did they make the call in the first place?

Showed Pennsylvania on the caller ID.  I didn't answer but let it go to voice-mail.  They hung up.

Usually if they ring and hang up, what they are looking for is the voice mail or message machine. That's legal to leave a message on. If you are on the Do Not Call List, then talking to you is not. Cell phones are not protected so they have a field day on those.

I just got rid of my cell phone and was happy to do so. No more robocalls. No more calling back a few minutes after the first time, hoping to catch you seeing who called.

I'm happy to have phone service. I don't need fancy, I need cheap. Since my service provider got bought out by another company, the new company wants to charge $4 to take payment. For that kind of money in a year, I can get phone service and get it without having to also pay a monthly service fee. So I've knocked off a good bit on my phone bill in the process of taking care of the slimy way to get extra income.

Since I've changed I notice I no longer get these sorts of calls. How nice to deal with it as a side benny of the curing of the rip off.

They rang my phone twice and hung up. Caller id showed Erie PA. The phone they called is a house number that has been unlisted for several years and is on the National do not Call list. I tried calling back from the phone in my home office, which is an outgoing-only VOIP line that I use for my work, and got a recording stating the number is no longer in service.

Just received a call from this number - called bacjk and said the number is disconnected!

Some employees inside the bank are practicing fraud.
I think it is some Nigerian employees working for Wells Fargo bank.

I'm also on do not call ist. I report these on the FCC website on their form 1099G. Hopefully at some point they'll shut them down.
