they are also calling my place of business, i call the Number back and it tells you to press 1 to put in your Phone # so they can take it off the list or press 2 to speak to a live person, when you press 2 it says , this mailbox is full and disconnects you ..... of course ! , they call and ask for my boss and i say , can i put you on hold for a moment and he yells very loud NO !! and then laughs, now when they call and they call 5-6 times a day i just say sure and put them on hold until they hang up . or i just say im the person they are looking for , next time they call im asnwering the phone " Sheriffs Office " or emergency 911 how can i help you , maybe theyll quit calling

Theae posts are scaring me. I've been getting non stop calls from this number. I answered once and hung up on them Immediatly they don't have any of my card info but won't stop calling! I will be sure to report to the attorneys office but how can I get these people to stop calling?!

Had this number call me 5 times and each time it was a different person. Each time they ask for Mary. When told no Mary lives here the caller becomes agitated and says he must give Mary a validation number.

@ Peggy, I will do as you have stated to do!  Please be aware, they had my CC # and now they are continously charging my credit card!!!!

It's not enough that you are posting information about these scam artists online.  PLEASE report them to the Illinois Attorney General's office 312-814-3000 or 800-386-5438.  Tey will react faster if they get more than one complaint.

The same crap happen to me today and those 2 Indian speaking men are scam artist. I was a fool too in giving them my credit card number but out smarted them by calling my cardholder and canceling out my card. They kept calling my home phone back from 815-687-8018. Harassing me. Then turned very anger using the F word towards me several times. I thought I was calling WalMart benefits but some how my call was interceded to them. It was not WalMart. I also reported this to WalMart Corporate Office. I called my credit card holder and ask them what number or business it was. Didnt have a name but the other number was 866-884-5530 in connecton to this scam. Be-ware ppl! Please!

These idiots tried to scam me today, they hijacked my American express call and managed to get a hold of American Express credit card. However I was able to detect that they were fraud and cancelled my cc acct. But they kept on calling my house and claimed they have charged me $49

Was calling PNC bank customer service.  Gave my cc information to "PNC."   They promised to give me $100 as a promotion.  Realized it was not PNC and hung up immediately.  They called about 8x.  Unfortunately I called from my parents house, so they have been bugging them.  I notified PNC and they blocked my account immediately.  There is a pending transaction from the scammers under the name "CoreVision GRP."   They sounded Indian. I will definitely be more careful.

Thought I was calling gecapital to make a payment on my new Sleepy's Account..I had tried to make an on line payment!.
Got "We are giving a $100.00 gift card to be used at Wallmart, etc, etc and you will receive it within 3-5 business days. ..just pay $3.99 shipping charges.

Told them to take the amount off the card and send me the difference. Thought it was funny.  Said would be sending free wrinkle cream . Said not interested and I was told that I didn't understand and the charge would be $3.95, said I thought it was $3.99. Was told "That I didn't understand!" Said I did, and that all I wanted to do was to make a payment on  my Sleepy's bill. Told the line was busy.Said he would refer me to his manager.I hung up. Got a call back from 1-815-687-8018 (Illinois). "The manager"told that he believed me and would listen to the tape......And BE WARNED, English was a second language for these folks!!!!

Like a fool, I did give my cc#, cancelled the card before any transactions were fully completed.
I knew better too!! ....Several attempts were made to take amounts off the card.

Later in the day, I made another attempt to call gecapital and made a better connection!!.
Who has time for this nonsense!?

I had my call to AmEx "highjacked" by these people, with the same attempt to sell me their $100 "Gift Card"
At the start of the conversation, because I thought they were AmEx, I repeated my Credit card #.  It became so difficult to get rid of them that I had to cancel my credit card.  Even so, I received eight calls before 6 in the morning.  I reported them to the Illinois Attorney General, because that's where the calls were coming from.  You should all do the same..

I called this number because it was on a Walmart card, they scammed me and will not stop calling my house.

Received numerous telephone calls from 815-687-8101 - number is similar to the 815-687-8108. East Indian men are calling to ask for credit card numbers and they will give you a walmart card.  Don't answer your telephone to this place and don't call them.

I was trying to call Prudential Customer Service when I got the same treatment as Renee describes.  What was really frightening was the fact that after I gave him my cc#, he knew my address and would not stop calling until I disconnected my phone.  I will report this to the New York Attorney General's office!  Beware!!  I got the number I called from a piece of correspondence that looked legitimate.

Well, I called a toll free #, not exactly this #, but a phone # at the end of Hollister.com website, after placing an order w/Hollister, that showed error where I should have recieved confirmation, therefore, I call the C/S # which appeared on that page, the guys answers acts as though he is checking my info, ask for my credit card #, which I ask again, just to confirm, "you are Holliser Right?", they guys states "yes" so therefore i proceed to give my credit card#, however, only for him then to tell me i will recieve all these coupons and bull, and a bonus, which is free for 30 days, im like, "wait, i dont want anything but what I ordered from your website"  he goes on to forward me to another guy who wants me to repeat my info, cc# and all, in which at this point i hang up!....Then, they call me back 2 more times, they will not tell me who they are, only that they will be charging my CC this $3.95.  Please be aware, i do understand, $3.95 is nothing, well it is, but not alot to argue about, however, I do not want your coupons, or anything, I just want my order from Hollister!  

Anyway, please be advised, do not give these ppl your CC, and do not ever give it immediately upon "THINKING" you have called a customer service for any company!  

These people are scammist, I would say, due to they will not tell who they are when you speak to them!
