Scott asking me how I was and if I was the homeowner.

I hung up.

Call was from Woodstock, IL.

Long pause, then a robot voice said - this is Scott. How are you today?
Are you the homeowner?

I ended the call right then.

Just got this call. Voice identified as Scott, then after some prompting from me, Scott Nelson, then after I asked what company this was, the voice said "home security." I said it wasn't a company we deal with, after which the voice said, "I'm sorry," and the call was disconnected. Definitely read like a robocall.

Caller ID said security alert; voice mail was from "Scott" (Sounds like a machine).

Do what I do!  If I don't recognize the phone number displayed...I "reject" the call.  If someone REALLY wants to talk to me, they'll leave a message.  EASY, PEASY!!

Caller ID said "Security Alert"  There were some clicks and a voice said "This is Scott"  I replied a long drawn out "Yeeessssss?"  The reply was a chuckle and a friendly "Yes I am a real live person."  Again I responded "Yeeessssss?"  There were more clicks and the other end disconnected.

Robo-call.  Took 6 or 7 seconds for person to come on the line after I answered.

"Good Morning!  How are you today?  This is Scott. May I please speak to the homeowner?"  

When I asked what he was calling about, he hung up.

Check me on this folks, I think this is an A.I. robocall!

It was "Scott" again.
The long pauses make me think this is a machine.
The answers were good, but not quite right.

I asked if it was a machine and it denied it!
It didn't respond to interruptions.

The next person who gets this call, two suggestions:
1)  Ask it a simple math problem.
2)  Ask it the same question over and over.  This ties up their phone line.  So it's win-win.

Pretty impressive tech the sharks are siccing on us!

Caller ID said security alert; voice mail was from "Scott"

My wife and I received one today, 10/3/13 at about 5:10 PM.  Hung up on someone named Scott.
