Have been called 3 times this week from this number.   I don't answer and they don't leave message.

Three years ago I started donating to the Texas State Troopers Association.  I would only donate $10, and every six months they would call back for more.  The person stated they were a Texas Trooper and the money would go to directly to benefit them.  Well, one year ago I finally got tired of them calling and asked for my name to be taken off their list.  Six months later same call with same answer.  Now since July I received some hangup phone calls from the Fire Fighters F.  No one every talks.  But, for the last three weeks I've received up to three phone calls a day.  I got on Yahoo which lead my search to these comments.  I was really worried that some individual was stalking me, good to know that it's a telemarketer.  I will be calling Austin's local police, the FCC and the company themselves to complain.  I hope all will follow suite in complaints.  It won't stop with just one call.  Thanks for the information and your comments, wouldn't have figure out the problem.

I dont know what else to do other than complain to the FCC because they are a charity, and aernt bound by DO-not-call lists.

This is to sick of these calls, answer everytime they call if it's after the second ring they WILL hang up, be very polite to them or they WILL hang up on you right away (personal experiance) I can tell you this though the last time they called I listened to their spew about a donation then I very politely said, "I have asked numerous times to be removed from your calling list and your still calling,I am reporting you to the F.C.C. will this get you to stop calling?" I have not recieved a call since then. FINALLY!!!!!!

I have just received for the millionth time a call from this number. I did a reverse phone look-up on whitepages.com. and found it to belong to someone in Kansas City MO. After I had told them no I was not going to contribute to the fund a month ago this man still calls every day up to 5 times a day and hangs up on me. What can be done to stop this harassment? This has got to stop. He just won't stop and it is beginning to frighten me.

Just recieved another call from the fire fighters foundation and was actually able to keep them on the line long enough to find out they are calling from Dallas, Texas.

Most telemarketers and any agency are working inside jails now, and some of criminal doing time and so they waist time dialing phone numbers, and if they get lucky.
Those criminal are stressed, and are seeking for sexy young voices Male/Female or young child to fantasize about, and chat to.... anyway use your imagination.
The person could be murderer, child molester, rapist or/and.

Yes; most the times those calls are coming from inside prisons; the criminals are fishing for times, It?s mean you.
If they get jack-pot, the problem it?s after fact; if they did not get rejected by you, they pass the number around in the prison and cell-mate to harass you.
Eventually one of these prisoners become a stalker, and never leaves you alone.
Remember, if they know more about you they become more powerful. For an example; blackmailing.

Please be careful with whom are you dealing with, Do not ever give your ID and/or phone numbers, addresses to any stranger on the phone, no matter what. Your life will be destroy and burn down.

Even if the person says that they are calling straight from the company, ask for the number, and tell them you?ll call them back right way.
The phony person hangs up on you or the number may not exist when you call them back.
Please just be careful dog eat dog.

The only option left, Bell Canada has dial *57 right away, same time conversation it automatically records, free of cost, the callers number and sends it to the neighborhood police station and OPP, as a report of harassment, and they will investigate, but you have to report this matter right way with your prove *57.

I don't know if it will help at all but I've started filing complaints with the FCC I've had enough of the calls I think everyone should file a complaint and maybe something will be done about this.  Its fairly simple too all I had to do was look up FCC and there is an online complaint to fill out, it only took a few minutes. I don't think that the NDNCL will do anything about them since they claim to be a charity I could be wrong though.

I get a call  almost every evening about the same time---between 6:00 and 7:00, sometimes later. I have been picking up and then hanging up, but I would like to stop them from calling...is there a way?

They call everyday but Sunday. If you tell them not to call, they hang up. We've called the local police, and if that doesn't take care of it, we'll be contacting the FCC/FTC.

Got a call from them (caller ID says "Fire Fighters Foundation) that someone else in my house answered.  They were soliciting funds and were told no.  Then, the incessant calls began.  They call and call and call every single day.  Finally, I answered tonight, and they hung up.  I have no debts and have absolutely no idea why these idiots harass us.
