*Classic phishing scheme* - don't believe it!
Just received a text from this number claiming itself as"Credit Union Center Alert". It stated that my card was deactivated, and gave another TN# 806-576-8392, as a contact number to "resolve" the situation. After checking all of my cards' status online, I called the 806 number (from a friend's phone so it wouldn't be associated with the text). A computer answered, stating that it was the "Credit Union Card Activation Line", and that I needed to enter my 16-digit credit card number. I entered "9999999999999999", suspecting that the machine didn't care and wasn't going to check it. I was right, because it then prompted me for my pincode. I entered 1234. It then thanked me and stated that the "problem was being investigated and I should have full use of the card immediately.
