I got a offer from this worm too. I had a used Dell XPS notebook for sale. Again he offered me more for it than what i was asking for it just as long as i ship it to his girlfriend. Ya right i bet she lives in nigeria :P.

I have had this happen before at a furniture outlet.  They use stolen credit card info and then once itvis caught, the charges get reversed.  They are hoping by this time you have already shipped the product.

Have an engagement ring posted on Craigslist today. Got mail saying to text Timothy at this number. Did not. Looked up number first and saw this. Also had one from Nigeria brouder.declan@yahoo.com, he is also a scam!!!

Scammer if you get this number just call them a paypal scammer and they will not text back.
Dont send anything cash only people the safest form of payment.

well, I just got a text message about a camera which I just listed on craiglist two hours ago.  Just like all the other reports that offered me $100 more than asking price and want me to ship to his fiancee.

Computer, cell phone and camera.  You put the dot together.

Scam artist.... wants text instead of email. Fake paypal email response when invoice sent from PayPal... beware of this POS .... do not ship unless you get PayPal confirmation directly on your account. The email confirmation looks very real if you do not pay attention to the details.

The number could be domestic USA Missouri or it could be japan. It is a scam because the person is not in Nigeria but wants a package shipped. If you had agreed to it , the next thing would be an email saying they over paid so that you could pay the shipping agent. Stay alert!

What type of scam could they be running. I am dealing with a guy using this same number. My question is, maybe he really wants to send his fiance a computer, but since he needs to use paypal all you guys run scared. Just a thought. However, if it is a scam, if the money goes into your paypal account, and paypal says "OK To Ship" you are protected, so as long as you don't ship before paypal says to, you'll be fine, right?

Got an email from Craigslist about a laptop I'm selling and this person asked me to text this number.
A scammer indeed since he offered to pay me $350 for a $200 laptop and will use PayPal to send the money and wants it shipped to his fiance.

I also just got a txt from that number  I have a item for sale on Craigslist and they offered me more then asking price, So I too am thinking its a SCAM n I am turning over that number too Craigslist

Same thing Galaxy S3 on Craigslist wanted to do fake paypal payment and ship to "fiancé"

I had a Samsung Galaxy 3 for sale on craigslist in this number has been texting me for two days offering to buy it above my asking price. The email that they sent from PayPal verifying the transaction is a spam email that arrives in your spam box. They offered to pay $90 for shipping to Nigeria. Once I told the seller via text message that her offer look like a scam she got very defensive. The shipping address was:

I would guess a Craigslist scam artist,  I had something advertised,  the person offered 100 bucks more for me to ship,  I have received text like that from all over the country,  obvious that it is a scam.
