Keep getting harrasing calls where the women won't tell you anything other than if you would like to keep this out of court we can quickly settle this.  They had a call back number of 877-286-9269.  They are now calling my relatives.  They left my brother this phone number and a name of Nicole Gray.  Said the company name was Kar.  When I called they wouldn't give me a company name and I got a Ms. Johnson who was very rude when I told her I don't take out payday loans.  She tried really hard to say we could settle quickly if I give her one lump sum payment but I said I wanted proof of any of this along with a signature for the pay day loan.  She just kept saying that it was too far beyond that to get that information and if I refused today we would be going to court.  Bring it on cause I never signed a payday loan in 2009.

Omg, did have loans to be settled and I paid them.now the real companies are calling. What do I do?

Had a recorded call from 877-286-9269 saying they were with Chase and calling about an issue with my name and SS#. Then they left number 888-791-7193 to be called back at.

How nice of them...calling to make me aware that I'm going to be served on Monday. If it weren't for that wonderful credit card suit I had a year ago, I'd probably fall for this s**t. Get real...I got served for that and I never received a "courtesy call" to try to work things out!

idk what NRG or RCS are, I just know they called me again and i had to get my paid letter...long story short pay day loans cause the biggest pain in the a** ever and i highly suggest no one to EVER get one

CAR actually is a firm based out of NY, they work with legal servicing companies through counties in the US. they do hold the ability since majority of their service applies to "pay day loans". Since these are civil matters according to the Patriot Act they do hold the right to sue based upon possible fraud for someone against a social security number, however since they Patriot Act says that you must provide ssn, liscence id, and banking info it is extremely hard to claim fraud on a loan.....long story short i paid $3,200 IN COURT back in 2010 for this, they just called me about the same account i paid off in 2010 with the same stuff. All I did was provide them with my paid letter and they closed out my account

This guy, Scott Matthews, just called saying they were a server company that was going to come to my job and serve myself  my employer, my brother and sister.  Said that if I wanted them to change the location that i would need to call the 888 # to talk to their client.   This is the 2nd time they have called and threatend. I thought that even if you did owe a bill they couldnt do that???

I just received the same call from the same people saying they are police officers i am going to served right away and, they must speak with my supervisor. I returned there called they told me they do not make outbound calls the goldstien guy was a real piece of work and was loud and rude. They could not provide me with any information because its a scam. Each time I called back they could not provide information this is not right they are harrassing me at my job this needs to end.

I just received a call from them as well. She left a message with my married name & maiden name. I've been married yrs. The only old debt I have is credit cards. They can't take you to court for credit card debit. I've been through this already. This is what I had to do. Once I was able to get the company name, I verified to the Secretary of State that they are licensed to collect in Texas. If they aren't, they can NOT contact you any longer. If they continue to call, contact the FBI, FTC & your local AG office. Luckily the one that tried it with me sent me an email with their "letterhead". I got the address off there, sent them a certified letter stating to cease & desist. I haven't heard from them since but who's to say they're number spoofing & acting like another company. They are notorious for that. I even got a call from what was a fax number from a local state agency. I called them up to find out if they were trying to call me. Nope! Number spoofing.

Have had the call twice.  I just ignore them. By now, according to them I should already be in court.  I do not have any debt.

Both times the caller has said the same thing.  If I don't call them back they will serve papers to my home or business.  I also had this same thing happen a while back with some middle eastern accent people. I believe that went on for about a year. These are truly scam artists looking for ignorant people to pay false debts.

Have had the same people call me at my home and work. They are saying I owe $2000.00 from 2008. They were threatening to come to my job and fingerprint me. I demanded paperwork as proof and they keep jerking me around. Now my wife sees reports of a scam on the news! By law you have to be served with legal papers,  which they won't do.

I received a phone call yesterday saying the same thing. I called the courthouse and they told me that these people are fraudulent and for me not to give them any information. They thought they were gonna harrass me so i gave them a lil taste of their own medicine. I called them back to back none stop lol. That goldstein guy also answered for me and told me i was crazy and to please stop calling them. I told them hell NO and that i bet they will think twice about messing with me again. They googled my aunt & got my name from there. They ALSO said my brother was involved and he's been in jail since 2005... How do someone write bad checks from jail?? LOL at first i was upset but now its funny because they're so Stupid i had them stuttering and everything. I Bunch of dumb Low lifes tryna get rich off of scamming people. DONT GIVE THEM NOTHING!!!

got a call today from someone at ref number 888 791 7193 to call to change loc of being served papers at my work to a place of my choice (really) or even to resolve the matter quickly (right).  couldn't even understand his name he left, he was talking to fast.  First you don't get a heads up on being served and also if they are willing to work something out with you on a debt why not try that first instead of being so obviouly stupid and desperate. I am so sick of these scams.  Have had these kinds of calls for over two years, different people, different places but they are all the same.  What really got me was one of the ref they claim to contact was the name of someone I have not seen or spoken to in over twenty years!  They must do a name search some kind of way to connect you with people and then try to bully you with them.

KAEN, I believe this is a scam. dont pay them anything!! they try to intimidate you with big words and stuff. call your local police dept and report them. also let the FBI and FTC know what is going on. just let them know you will not be intimidated by their words and actions. they cant touch you or hurt you in any way.

received a call from a eugene turner. he left a message on voice mail saying that he talked to my supervisor letting them know he will be serving me papers on my job. if i pay him 1966 he will close the file. then he goes to say pay him 100. he is going to serve 2 references also for fraud.
call again today saying that i bounced a check. first i didnt write a check nor agreed to pay for something and there is no paper work. im going to have you scarerve next week at your job. ok, I might be there then again i might not. oh and today, his name is dave goldstein from CAR FRAUD DEPARTMENT. 1st you cant serve papers without giving the person the name of the company or show proof of the debt. show me the proof and i will pay u

Apparently they say I Have fradulent case pending against me but I know that is not true

I just got a call referencing this number for a debt collection company named CAR?  Apparently I am being sued for something. Legal Services called me from a TX phone number but said they were from Las Vegas.
