i got up to 7 calls a day from : (816)949-8578  with only a message saying :" If you are danielle, please call ... " i usually hung up after the first few words.
i have a "do not call.gov" on my phone and it doesnt seem to work out ?

some 2 months ago, the same message came from this # : (877) 803-9216 with the same senario.

is there a way to get rid of this ? get this people to stop ?

to ifp scam...dont pay them in most states the statute of limitations is 3 to 6 years,in some states its 10 years..why i dont know but if thats you ask them to validate and if they cant validate you dont have to pay send them a certified letter that has to be signed that they received the letter

Paid off a Chevy credit card 10 years ago when I bought a house. I just got a call from IFP trying to collect the same debt! He told me to prove it.  I asked for his client's contact name and number.  He refused to give me a contact name and number but let it slip (?) his client was "Assets" who is collecting debt for Chevy Chase (something after Assets ____??).  I told him to tell his client to tell his client I dispute this and Chevy can deal with me direct.  He said he would tell his client I dispute the claim but the calls would keep coming.  He told me to have a nice day and hung up.  I don't understand this at all.  

Why would Chevy hire Assets and Assets hire IFP to collect debt already paid a decade ago? If I owed money who would the check be written out to?  I'll bet it wouldn't be written out to Chevy.

These folks leave a message, but don't say who they are or what they want, just that they would like a call back.  I don't call unidentified phone numbers.  Went thru a divorce a few years ago, and assume this is another agency trying to collect on my ex's debts.

I called this number back but they were asking for someone else. Wrong number.

This company has called me and stated I owe for a PDL that I don't even remember doing.  When I asked what company they are talking about, this very hateful woman kept saying, "you know which one I'm talking about", I kept asking her "no I don't" and she said, "let me pull it up on your credit report", At the end of this conversation, she never told me what company and we were yelling at one another. I eventually hung up on her....and that was from a phone number in my same area code...do not know how they do that...any suggestions???

Please let me know what happens with the law suite.  I am ready to take them to court myself because they are blowing my cell phone minutes out of the water.  They say I owe them and I have never used there services.  I had credit fraud over a year ago and someone opened up a checking in my name and had all my info.  I have faxed the info about 7 times to them (police report).  They settled down for awhile and now some how they got my new number and I am starting all over after thinking it was finally done.

Receiving a call from this number every day with a recorded message to call back.  Already have my number on the do not call registry and have filed a complaint there.

Debt Collectors....they call everyday...even after I had set up a payment arrangement...they called everyday asking for more money..even after I told them my daughter had just died and we need some time to mourn...they still called everyday...one representative even went as far as telling me that my personal problems are not their concern. I stopped picking up the phone and I stopped making the payments too. I plan to look into my rights more and persue it legally. I know their address,telephone, and website:

Thats the Better Business Bureau.   I've done it and it works.  Response is immediate.

IFP Inc. on my caller id.  Left message and didn't even have the correct name.  When I tried to call back, I was told by computer msg no one availale. They just keep calling and not responding.  Do not have any old debts.

They call and call and call....finally I forward any calls from that specific number to an "alternate" tn #.

In short while no more calls from that tn#  however does not work with (800) (888) tn#'s.

They keep calling while i"m at work.  I don't respond to these messages.  I
don't know of any one that would have an outstanding debt.

They are trying to get information on a nephew and don't seem to care much about following the law (have a lawsuit pending in NY against them for violations). We will be sending C&D Letter now I that finally tracked down this information.

They say they are Integrity. The specialize in old debts and threaten to report them on your credit report which they can not legally do. Tell them to not contact you again, if they refuse, get their mailing address and send them a certified, receipt requested letter stating same and they can only contact you further in writing about any legal action.

Its a collection agency. They probably think if you don't know who it is you call back. The recorded message always calls and never says who they want  they just say its important to call back today. Then if you call back they put you on hold.
