I was talking to a girl that had a verizon table set up at a place I was working. I was told in order to hold the price i had to sign the contract, but i could call and cancel it any time before the installation date with no fees or anything. I did, and the next day I called and cancelled. We decided we did not want the service and verizon cancelled it no problem. For 2 months after it I kept getting emails and calls regarding my new submission to have verizon installed....turns out the girl wasnt with verizon, but a different company signing people up for it. The girl that I had spoken to kept re-submitting the application every time i cancelled, without my approval, under a different work order number, and didnt even spell my name right or have my phone number listed on there. Each time i called verizon and they cancelled it, and each time the company from the 877-224-4223 number called i told them what was happening and told them to get their worker to STOP submitting it in for my address, and that i DID NOT want the service. they assured me that it would not happen again, and a complaint was submitted and the girl would be spoken with....2 months later and this company is still submitting information for my address to verizon to have it installed at my house. I still get calls, emails about it and each time its a different work order number

BE CAREFUL WHEN SPEAKING TO ANYONE WHO IS TRYING TO GET YOU TO SWITCH CABLE COMPANIES.....THEY DONT TELL YOU THEY ARENT ACTUALLY WITH THE COMPANY, AND ALL THE PAPERWORK SAYS VERIZON WHEN THATS NOT WHO THEY ARE.

Received a call on 11/5/09 at 1311, answered the phone, and there was a long pause before anybody responded. The caller identified himself as "Derrick" and was calling to verify my Verizon Fios installation.

I said hello a few times and there was no answer
