This person is trying to sell a motorcycle on craigslist.  It's a totally too good to be true deal, 2010 Honda CBR600rr for $1800.  This would easily sell for 3x this price.  I usually google the contact info of potential scammers and found this thread.  Not suprised.  People are crazy...

I got the same call last week.  Whomever this is needs to be stopped!!!

I got a call today and they said that they were calling about energy efficiency, they wanted to know if my electric bill is over $100 on average, and if I own my house...Supposedly the company is Save energy now out of San Antonio but when I asked for a website or more information, they didn't have it.  They wanted to send someone to my house to do an energy audit so that I could get money from a government rebate program.  I didn't feel comfortable setting up an appointment.  It sound too good to be true.  It was kind of scary though that they knew my name and address.

This 817-313-4906 just called my house and hung on my automated answering machine. After reading these posts I am glad I didn't pick up, supposedly it is from Arlington Texas. What a loser! Obviously this person has no life and has nothing better to do then call people and harass them. I hope they get caught who ever they are and someone turns their behinds into the cops.

I do not answer unknown calls.  The caller id shows Ramirez Ramiro 817- 313-4906.  After reading the messages posted here I block the number.

Got a call from this number and threatened my wife that they will rob my house. Called the police and monitoring.  I really want to kick his A**s, if I find him.  Wish this guy had guts to come in front of me now.

This morning at 8:58am my phone rang and caller ID said only "wireless" with an 817 [often Ft. Worth] area code.  I don't answer anonymous phone calls and my phone carrier is SUPPOSED to reject anonymous calls or blocked ones.  Apparently Verizon FIOS does not comprehend that "Wireless" is NOT an identifier/valid caller I.D.

Although I was expecting a call and an appointment later today from someone with a TX state agency, who often have 817 phone ofc numbers [though who knows what they have on their personal cell phones], I did not answer it.

Now that I checked the number here, it seems to be from either phone solicitors [whom I'm also registered to be on every DO NOT CALL LIST - but they just ignore that law ] and/or a pervert/obscene phone caller [not much difference to me].

They're still invading MY home unwanted and without my permission.

So much for our laws and their non-enforcement.

Sounded like a black man. Called and said he wanted to run his hands through my wrinkles. Knew my name. Very sick guy.  I did report this to the police, I hope they can catch him.

My wife asked for something to be sent to us in the mail because she was too busy to talk. The person asked if she was sucking c*ck (excuse that part).  I tried to redial and got a mailbox not set up message.  I would like to kick his @ss.

Caller calls and doesn't speak ...three times this morning

They called me and when I told them my house was green and 3 years old they couldn't hang up fast enough... don't think my house is really green but I also don't think I wanted to listen to their spill!

Same thing.  Sounded like a stoned black guy.  Asked if I was Ms. X.  I said you have the wrong number, then asked if I Ms. Y (got the name right).  I asked what this was about and they hung up.  I called the number back from caller ID (817-313-4906) and an automated voice message said the mailbox had not been set up yet???????  Creepy.

We have been receiving calls from this number daily for three weeks on a home phone.  No one speaks.  Call, pick up, then click.

Someone keeps calling the house and addresses me by Mrs. (my surname)  they are very creepy sounding and hang up when you ask who they are.

I told girl my windows have been replaced and & have insulation but she kept going on about my energy bill being under $100. I finally hung up. Only answered b/c it said wireless.

Just received a call from this number.  Asked for my husband by name, and when I asked who's calling, he mumbled something and hung up.  

"Scammed"  I hope you reported this incident to police.  It sounds like whomever it was, might be casing your house to rob it.

Called and set up appt. for energy assessment for govt. energy savings program.  Said his name was Corky.  Showed up on time.  Looked to be in his late 40s early 50s, about 6'0 or 6'1, medium athletic build.  Wearing untucked polo and Docker type pants.  No ID badge or business card.  When asked the name of the business he worked for he never gave a straight answer.  Seemed to know his stuff about energy, but I can't be sure because I don't know enough to be able to spot a lie.  Walked with us completely through our house seeing every single room, closet, garage, attic, outside entry point, etc.  Handed husband heat gun and wife clipboard to write info down while he walked through each room with us.  Took note of some of the items in our house... fishing rods, car, etc. and asked about them.  Made an appt. to come back later and give us our results, but did not show up for the appt.  I tried to call his number back and it said that voicemail box had not been set up.  Called the police and reported him right after he left our house.

i just called that number and heard the same message about the number havung a voice mail box that hasn't been set up yet.  what's up with that?????

Like Justin above, I just got a call from this phone number. No one said anything, then an automatic system voice said "Goodbye." And like Justin above, when I called back the system voice said that this number has not set up a voicemail box. But I was able to take it a bit further and found out the following info about the owner of the phone:

I've never met this guy, so perhaps he's making random calls when drunk or high.

Received a call from this number stating they are a company doing energy audits - save energy now. Asked if they had a website and said they didn't because it was the energy auditors job to have all the information. Asked for basic electric and gas bill tally, but nothing else personal on that end, but wanted to know when both my husband and I are home together. I said I preferred no one visiting my home, so I would take a pass. Lady was polite, but did come in as a wireless caller and called back to find the same as others, a voicemail box that hasn't been set up yet. Hubby works for AT&T, so hoping he can track down the company that owns the number, but we'll see....

Someone called here with that number and left voicemail using my own voice. It said from(computer voice) and then Judy with my voice. Weird stuff.  Someone has way too much time on their hands.

Has anyone been able to report this guy to the authorities yet.

This number just appeared on our caller ID, but I didn't pick up.  When the answering machine answered, they hung up.  What a loser!  I saw that it's a cellphone out of Arlington, TX.

Said vulgar remarks and hung up. Asked for both members of the houshold by name.  Would love to "talk" to this person, but when you try to call the number back, the mailbox isn't set up yet.

Just called and hung up. I returned call and no answer just message llike everyone else. He's located in Tarrant Tx, close to Dallas. Southwestern Bell. Cell phone.
I'll be ready for him/her/them next time!!!!
