Said his name was Patrick, claimed the call was regarding a legal matter but didn't even know the owner's actual name and was really rude when I asked for more information. He started to reply in very rude manner so I hung up on him mid-sentence since he was obviously lying.

Just received a call, caller would not give his name only asked for the owner. Once I told him that he was not available, he hung up on me. It gets old, having people like this, disturb my day. We are a busy company and I don't have time for low lifes like this.

An extremely rude "william from Tucker's" called the small business I work for. He was adament about speaking to the owner, even knew him by name. He said he was told to contact the owner at a certain time. When I asked what it was regarding, he became very defensive and did not even want to give me his name. There was some screaming and industrial type noises in the background. He eventually hung up without getting anything from me.

Young lady called just now and hung up after being told the owner was not available.  I truly wish we could have a do not call list for businesses!  I write down the number and inform the caller that I was noting the information and holding it for any future harassing calls!

These are IDIOTS!!

A so called gentlemen just called our office and asked to speak to the owner and he used his name

Our company just received a call today from a guy named Zach stating he was from the Van Meter Co, he was very rude and proceeded to cal me names. Called the # back and all I get is a busy signal

Someone from this number calls constantly and we are not interested in his services.

Just called me.  Asked for our owner.  Asked him for his name and company, got rude, I yelled back at him and told him not to call again and hung up.

11/12/12 - very similar to above, but not threatening, did not want to give a last name.  Finally gave, Gary Tucker of Tucker's.  Put him on hold, and he hung up.

"William" from "Tucker's" called asking for owner by name and was very rude when I asked him to give phone #, stating he was returning his call and I should "put him through and he will take the call"...needless to say, we never heard of them and when I asked what it was regarding, he hung up! (big surprise)

What a joke.  Scam artist calls main line saying he MUST SPEAK TO our President by 11 am per the President's instructions.   Then he tells me his name is "Steve Slaughter" from "Tuckers" and they are detectives/private investigators working on something for the President.  You can hear the boiler room in the background.  You can hear the unprofessional hysteria creeping up in the caller's voice.  They are not even good at the "scam" game.  I told him sure, let me get that phone number (he would not give me one so I wrote down the one on caller id), let me interrupt our President in a meeting.  Well he hung up immediately.  They only want direct and immediate contact with an exec.  When you call the caller id number back, they have a lame British accent recording saying this number is not in service, so you think it is the phone company (not).  Would love to know what they are selling.  They are so inept in their phone skills, it is sort of humorous.

Does anyone know how to get a hold of these people? I would love to talk to them.

Sounds like some young kid who has no idea about phone manners or being polite. Just asked for our president and I said he wasn't hear, there is a message. He said no then hung up very snoddy. Sick of these calls.  Trying to keep track of these numbers so I know ahead of time. These people lose their sense of being a human. So sad...

Got a call from a guy asking for the boss.  Told him he wasn't in today and just hung up without saying another word.  Based off his fast speaking, it was a sales call of some type.  Call shows from Euless, TX.

Asked for our (retired owner) by name. When I said he no longer works here, he asked for the name of new owner...I said "hold please"....he waited for a minute and hung up.

Dan Hall from Tuckers called our business answering service, saying he is returning Jim's call. He knew his name. Jim called the number given and it was an auto place, with no Dan Hall working here. I called the number he called from and was told it was not a working.

A guy called saying he was "Chris from Tucker's". I asked him several questions about his company and what they do. He evaded the questions and claimed that "Tucker's" was his company and he was the owner. When I kept pressing for details as to what his company does, he hung up.

A guy named "Ben McManon" called from this number. He started the conversation off as if we already knew each other. "Hey, how have you been?" And he wanted to speak with my boss. He had a real smooth talking voice, probably because he makes these calls all day and says the same thing each time. I told him that the person he was trying to reach wasn't available and I asked if he wanted to leave a message. He said he would call back later.

The caller id simply said "Euless". I googled around and found another site where folks are saying these are cold calls from a home security company in Euless Texas, or that the calls are being routed through that number in Euless.  

I get sales calls very often at my job. There was something about this one that just didn't seem right, not the average sales call. My gutt tells me that there's some kind of con associated with this number. "Ben" just seemed way too smooth and confident to be an average cold-caller.

Purdy sure this outfit whomever they are will say (lie) anything to try to get through to management... "William" said he was told to call at a specific time by the boss-- hung up when realized he was busted after I repeated telling him he is and has been out of the office...  
I'm curious to know how much business these, and folks like this receive?

Also just had a guy call from this number. Said it was the Van Meter company or something...anyone else getting calls from this #?

He called and said  he was from a goup of lawyers and he was coming to get me.  I told him to go to hell.
