No, i haven't been a victim of fraud. It is the city of Fort Worth calling with info on  whatever they feel is important. Got these before.

Automated message from the City of Fort Worth

It's the City of Fort Worth's recorded announcement number, but the last few days, I've gotten several calls from it that have nothing when I pick up. I'm assuming a fault in their system, of some kind. The last one was on Saturday, September 7, so maybe they've gotten it corrected

I've received two automated messages from the City of Fort Worth.  One about 4th of July safety, which I appreciated.  One that mentioned Dennis Shingleton and City Council... some upcoming meeting or something that didn't interest me.  

I've saved the number to my contacts now, so I know to expect the initial 5 seconds of silence when I answer their calls.

This is the city of fort worth #. They leave msgs about events and alerts. They call whatever phone# is associated with your water bill.

PSA....message about 4th of July safety and that privately owned fireworks are illegal in the city of Fort Worth and could lead to $2000 fine. Word to the wise.

Just got a pre-recorded message from Mayor Betsy Price informing me about a community meeting that was coming up. I think it is a automated line, so that is why no one gets an answer when they call back.

I received a voicemail from this number.  It was promoting a community event for a neighborhood association in fort worth.  We live in this neighborhood so I don't believe it was scam.  We signed up several years ago to be on the crime prevention phone list.

Don't know why they are calling....if I call the number back it is busy and/or it says incorrect number.  Don't know what they want!  Very annoying!

City of Fort Worth  left voicemail concerning the fraud concerning senior citizens. Sad but true. People that do that should be shot and then hung. Not a bad idea - used as a way to spread the news and/or important information.

I recieved a pre recorded message from this number from the city of fort worth say that senior citzen's have been victims of fraud, and you think you are please call.

Who in the hell is calling me from 817-871-1099 then will hang up?  Is this a scam????? BB

I am getting calls from this number and I have attempted to call back since the number is within my local area and I get a recording that states the number is not in service.
I do not want calls and futher more why can't I call back the number displayed on my caller id to be removed from your call list.

I just got a call and the pre-recorded message it left on my answering machine stated an announcement of a announcement for the holiday closes fpr the City of Fort Worth,Tx, for the Christmas and New Year Holiday.

I got to the phone and it hung up after lots of clicking.  I called back it just gave a busy tone.

Caller ID said SWB.  I didn't answer.  No message left on voicemail.

Happened to me too.

Someone from this number calls every once in a while.  The caller ID says "SWB".  They let the phone ring once or twice but never leave a message.  Anyone know who this is?
