2012Aug16 13:34 Received call. Did not answer as name was not displayed (I never answer unless both name and number are displayed in Called ID). No voice mail message left. (817) is a Fort Worth, TX area code. Others on this site have listed this number as coming from BCR Collections. I don't know as name was not displayed in caller ID.

I posted here before about this number and just now found this comment on the 800notes Website about these same people:
"After reading all these responses I can't believe any of you really think this is a legit company. IT'S NOT A COMPANY, ITS A RING OF SCAMMERS! My neighbor works for the Bureau of Investigations and she is now fully aware of not only this thread but also all their info. These jerks are going down hard. They called me apartment 3 weeks ago asking for someone that I had never heard of, i told them that but they kept asking me weird questions. I asked the guy if i could please speak to his supervisor, he hung up. I called the number back but they answered the phone "home logistics, may i help you"? even though it said BCR on the caller id when he called the first time. I demanded to speak with the supervisor which is when the man called me a "little stupid f****ng n****r", as I sat there in shock he kept ranting then called me a "little f**got" before hanging up.
I am both black and gay but I'm not stupid BCR which is why I immediately contacted my local police dept. They came to my apt. an hour later to fill out the formal report because i am now in fear of BCR doing some bodily harm to me. Come to find out, they aren't even what they claim to be. They are in a load of trouble once the law catches up with them.

Looks like they are in a considerable amount of trouble now. Serves them right IMO.

I have had my new number for no more than 1 week. BCR keeps caling. I keep telling them '' YOU HAVE THE WRONG NUMBER CAUSE I JUST GOT THIS NUMBER..'' They then wanna ask questions.! if I told you you have the wrong number andddd i just got this number.. ''' REMOVE MY NUMBER FROM THAT ACCOUNT.! They keep calling.. each time i call that number back and ask for a supervisor, they hang up.... Bunch of lozzzzers...!!!

bcr collection 817-918-4789 or 952-259-1101 and sometimes they block their number. They get REALLY upset when you let your FAX machine answer their call and then your FAX redials them back OVER and OVER.. (( Wink-Wink ))

this is BCR collection calling.. They love to hang up in your face.. I promised them, if they give me just a minute, they will be able to Google BCR and find these complaints... :) ``` THIS ONE'S FOR YOU BCR..!
