Received a call stating the same thing.  That I was to pick up a subpena from the police department.  I did not call back because I know now that these are scam calls.  That no one can just send a subpena to the police dept for you to pick up.  I wish I could find out what link this is attached to.  These calls always come with the same m.o. I know the law says that you legally have to be given notice in writing and that can not threat jail if they were a legal company.

I have gotten calls from this number numerous times, they are fake. They told me I have been subpoenaed for court in southern California because I owe money on a payday loan. First of all I do not live in California, second I have never taken out a payday loan in my life.... Let alone you are not subpoenaed unless it is served to you properly

I got the same call yesterday and today. But his name was Brian Jordan. Said in order to not have to go to court i needed to pay him for some company.

I received a phone call stating that I need to pick up my files from our local police department.  ??????  Should I be concerned/  He said he was from a law office.
