I have recieved numerous texts from hmpzhq@messaging.sprint.pcs.com Says the Dept of Labor has deactivated my account benefits card. To reactivate call 818-338-9201. I have not been on unemployment for 3 years, and have had no deals with the Dept of Labor. So I do not know who this is or y they keep texting me.

received txt msg.from "npxhix" on my cell: "DeptOfLaborHasDeactivatedYour511182BenefitsCardToReactivateCall:1-8183389201"
I don't have any public benefits account of any kind and I'm on the National Do Not Call Registry. Looks like if you return the call, you'll be hit with an exhorbitant phone charge. DO NOT CALL THAT NUMBER. Was 10.25.09 about 5:30 pm EST.

I may live in CA, but I don't even have a west coast phone number and don't receive unemployment benefits. This is a scam people, be aware. You'd think Sprint would do something about this??

re: 818-338-9201 Since the Federal government doesn't send service members text messages, I was pretty certain something was amiss. Plus, I KNEW that was a Tri-care phone number.
Just don't call back numbers you don't recognize unless they give you very specific sentences.
