Just got a call from a lady same thing as other posts tried to say she had a check from us from a certain bank . We do not do business with that bank. Also said she had shipped us something and she wanted to ship us the balance of the order . Will  not give name or anything else . Why would I pay to ship tape from California to Connecticut

Here is how my conversation just went with this company.

"This is David, how may I help you?"
"Hello David, this is Barbra with US Industrial Supply"
"Say Hello to my friend Mr. Dial Tone."
Hung Up!

Do yourself a favor and stay as far away from this company as possible

These guys go by the name of Warehouse Supply or Industrial Supply.  They are rude, they are a scam and the sooner you hang up on them they better.

I got a call from a lady said they supply our tape and other supplies. She needed to talk to our person who places orders.  I told her we have a couple people and what in particular she was needing.  She said she needed a name.  I told her too many to list and she could send it to attention of purchasing.  She insisted on a name.  I told her if she really wanted to send a catalog she can send to Purchasing.. She then got nasty and rude with me and asked for a name again.  I again told her if you want to send name it purchasing.. she then hung up.  SCAM

VERY RUDE!
Looking for our warehouse shipping supply manager. Said her name was Tina from W.I.T....
I told her I can take a message for our "manager" and she said, "thats not...UGHH!!" & hung up the phone.

She calls about 3 times every day.....

Hey Tina.......GET A REAL JOB!

They called and wanted to talk to whoever orders blah blah, I said we were fine with what we had and hung up.  
She immediately called back and said we had an open account with them. I asked what company, and she said this is "Sally", and she just wanted the name of whoever handles blah blah. Again, I said we don't need anything {I'm the one who handles that btw}. Again, she said well you already have an open account and she  wanted a name. I asked for her company and she finally blurted "Superior" and that they already had a contact name for us. I asked for the name, of course it wasn't anybody here. She kept wanting my name and asked for the office manager, when I said I was {at this point I'm getting pissed}, she said why are you so rude? I said why are you trying to sell me something we don't need?. She replied, I just want to know if you want to keep your account open, and if you don't that's okay.
I started to say something, and she pressed some kind of button or whatever to blast a high pitched tone my way, it was like eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!

Screams Scam all over... just got a call from them... Same stuff as above....

Got a call from the guy asking for inventory information.  Being the clerk I answer the phone and quickly recognized the type of call and without saying a word hung up. This guy calls back 5 times screaming at the end. I never said a word the entire time.  Got to love these hotheads.

I just received a call as well.  Tasha Harris wanted to send us a catalog.  I asked for her number and she said she was new and did not have the number to the headset....  Sounded like a SCAM - and after reading the responses above - I know it is a SCAM!!!

Same call etc as everyone else from 818-742-6049, I get John...too bad I can't attach the VM because I can get tape for .81 a roll.
It's amazing that they don't get the hint...we've passed this guy back and forth for a year now, it's a record around here (see below).

Oh well...if you want you can call back on his number of 818-785-4574 (Van Nuys) and see if he wants to buy something from you.

If you want it to stop write down this phrase: "Put my number on your don't-call list" unless you use this exact phrase (per FCC regs) they can keep calling.

Or, do what we do when they keep trying...one person take the call a few times and keep putting them  off and ask for a call back in a week or so. After three or fours times suggest they speak to another person and hand off the call to someone else and as the saying goes...rinse and repeat eventually they give up and go away.

Same deal. A guy named, "Brian" called with "WIT". He wanted to speak with the person in charge of shipping supplies. I told him that I was not authorized, he asked about office supplies. I told him we used a local company. He then said that they had a local warehouse. I said he could send a catalog and he kept trying to send special "free gifts". I told him we weren't interested in anything like that and that we would only accept the catalog. He asked my last name, which I stupidly gave to him, and he mentioned another free gift. Once I turned it down he then hung up on me. I made the receptionist aware of the situation and she said they had called the day before. Not sure what will come of it but it's for sure some sort of scam.

I recevied a call just a few minutes ago from a lady at this number.  They have called many times before.  They always want to talk to who orders supplies for the company.  They want to send a catalog and a free gift.  She wanted a name of a person and I wouldn't give it to her.  I tried telling her I could take a message, but she insisted on getting a name.  I hung up on her.  I refuse to argue with these callers.  She called back and I let it go to voice mail.  She called me a stupid idiot on the message.  So very professional!  Of course, I tried to call the numer back - but you can't get through.

It is a scam.  This company just called me and I'm surprised they had the balls.  They got me last year as they acted as if they were friends with one of the owners.  I'm not sure how they got that information.  But they said they were closing and needed to get rid of supplies cheap.  So I went ahead with it.  When I got the packages, it was all off brand stuff (though she quoted me brand names) and they charged me quadruple what she quoted.  I called the number on the invoice & told them I was returning the products.  The lady was pretty unprofessional.  She asked if I would want to keep any of it and I said no.  It wasn't what we agreed upon.  So I sent it back on our UPS account because I didn't want any excuses as to why they didn't get it.  Never got another invoice.

She wanted the person who orders warehouse and shipping supplies. She said she was calling from "Industrial" and wanted to send out a free gift item with the catalog. I told her I don't need premiums and she said why ot, it's totally free? I told her the AM/FM radio or the leather organizer would just be sitting around and I didn't need it. I was amazed she did not try to get me to order just one case of tape or something in advance of a price increase.

Received a call from this number...the person (female) said her name was peggy, and wanted to speak to the person who orders, shipping and warehouse supplies, office supplies, I told her that we have no warehouse and that we support our LOCAL office supply stores (the mom and pop) she claimed that they are a vendor of our company and I said NO they are'nt because I release the checks...  She wanted my name I did not give it out....she hung up on me..... Such bad manners!!! (HAHAHAHAH)   :):):):)

Got a call today....wanting to send me a catalog, told her I order online direct and was not interested. hung up!  Another scam I'm sure!

The lady who called me from this nummer today said she was with WIT. She asked me if she could send a catalog. I have come across this type of scheme before and told her to remove our company from their listing.
We had a similar situation a few years ago, where a call like this resulted in delivery of a $100+ printer cartridge along with a invoice and an order confirmation stating that we ordered a year's supply and would get one unit every month. Took multipe phone calls to reverse this. In the process they said they have a recording of the original phone call where, according to them, our person agreed to the sale. The tape that they played back was very clearly manipulated. 'Yes' answers for unrelated questions where "cut and pasted" to questions such as: 'Do you agree to this purchase?'
Caution!!!!!! Be very careful on how you respond!!!!!

She asked if I was the person in charge of warehouse supplies. I told her my business had been incorrectly listed as Janitorial Supplies, that we are a service company and do not ship anything out.
Then she said that last year we had ordered an office supply item that comes from the warehouse dept, that we had an open account, and that she was going to send out a catalog. I asked her what item we ordered. She said she didn't know, but that they were going to close my "open account" (total lie) if I didn't order something because it is the end of the year. She asked if I was in charge, I told her I was the owner of the company, she asked how many employees at our location, and when I said 3 (because my other 26 employees don't come in to the office) she started laughing. After 10 seconds of listening to her laugh, I asked her if there was something funny and she said," how long do you think I've been doing this? Are you kidding me?!"  Then she hung up on me.

Wanted the name of whom ever orders shipping supplies. Then hung up when I asked to remove our number.

They called twice yesterday and never left a message.  I tried to call the number back but it would never ring.  She called today and I answered. I told her about this page and that I have read about them. I told her I did not need anything and she hung up.  I'm sure I will get another call tomorrow.  Geez...

The same lady called back again today! I told her we did not ship anything, AGAIN, she then asked what about our office supplies, AGAIN. I asked for a phone number at least 5 times in the conversation, but she said she was on an outgoing line only. I asked if she could give me any number to the company and she said no. She did tell me her company name was US Supply. She said to just let the person who orders supplies know she was mailing a catalog and that they could call her if they wanted to order anything. I said "what phone number will be on the catalog?" She said she did not know......

Got a call today also asking for whoever orders shipping supplies. I told her we do not ship anything. She asked if we have a warehouse. I told her no. She said, "Okay, what about office supplies?" I told her she would have to leave a message in the company's general voice mail box and wait for someone to call her back. She okay, but then hung up.
