Telephone Management Corp (TMC). TMC is the bad guy.  It has a business model of being a proxy, which is used to hide and support criminals and fraudsters.  TMC buys a phone number from a phone company, and sells the phone number to fake telemarketers/autodialers/criminals/fraudsters.  

When you call a TMC number, a recorded female voice says "thank you for calling back... If you are not interested in receiving any future calls regarding our special promotions, and would like to be placed on our do not call list, please press one now...." etc...

If you press "one" to get off their list, you get even more calls.  If you press 2 to speak to a person, they hang up on you.  TMC facilitates crime and fraud and illegal autodialing and DNC violations.  They claim to just sell phone numbers and a do-not-call compliance system to their clients, but make no effort to ensure that their customers' telemarketing schemes comply with the law.  They know that their customers illegally autodial people and never remove people from call lists; they know that their customers pitch scams like illegal advance fee frauds and fake refinancing and credit improvement services, attack senior citizens and other vulnerable adults, and engage in crime.  TMC nevertheless claims that it is helpless to stop facilitating this behavior.

I have reported this number three times to the FCC Do Not Call Complain Page and they keep on calling.  You cannot return the call.  No legitimate polling company operates this way.

got the call from different number 435-294-1290, robo call asked political leanings, then nothing. Very weird.

Same information.  They call everyday and let it ring three times and hang up.  When I answer the phone, they hang up.  I think they are scoping us out....maybe to find out when people are home and when they're not?

Called to ask if I was liberal, middle of road or conservative. Push buttons 1-2-3 for each, Pushed 3 for conservative and they hung un.  Not sure what they are trying to do or ???

Rings three times and hangs up.  Wonder why they keep calling?

When these people called my son answered. They were VERY RUDE when they asked for me. My son hung up on them. Rudeness gets them nowhere, not that I would have listened to them anyways.

Why can't this caller's phone company do something about the nuisance calls made by their customer from this number?

this number gets tagged in a series of phone calls...3 in a row all from different numbers. They never leave a message.  Just annoying that they call.

This is the number an auto-called owned by Tom Zoretich who uses it determine if there are ?live? people at the numbers so his staff can call back and conduct market research on for whatever company or organization hires them.   He does this for two companies, both of which he owns:

He is willfully violating the National Do NOT Call law.  Worse, he is the treasurer of the Marketing Research Association, which printed the following about fighting this law in its recent newsletter:   ?This past year, we engaged in a wide range of lobbying activities to educate legislators at both state and federal levels about the detrimental effects of the FTC?s revision of the National Do-Not-Call bill as it pertains to  calls to cell phones.?

I urge EVERYONE to report him (and all his numbers and information) at  http://esupport.fcc.gov/complaints.htm  because the government won?t do anything about him unless they receive multiple complaints.

I also urge everyone to SEND HIM MULTIPLE, AUTO-DIALED E-MAILS TO JAM HIS E-MAIL BOX and PUT HIS OWN PHONE NUMBERS ON AN AUTO-DIALER TO DO TO HIM WHAT HE?S BEEN DOING TO US.
