Calls, says nothing then hangs up!

Everyone that they have called I've never been by the phone to answer it. But finally I was home to answer it, I just really wanted to know who it was since when you call them back they are always closed during normal business hours. Some guy that I could barely understand asked me about my car (not in my name). He asked my mileage and said he was going to transfer me to a supervisor who hung up on me after 2 seconds. I would definitely agree that it is a scam. It's a fake number word to a Waynesville phone number. If it were a real number out wouldn't take them more than 15 sec top finally connect after you already answered.

This Number 828-476-4242 Keeps calling all hours about my purchase of a new car (which I do have ) when i question them they keep trying to get personal info, that they don't get. when I try to call it back it says the office is closed call back on PST. It doesn't give a company name. It is a Scam trying to get personal info. BEWARE

Picked up on third ring and no onr answered. Returned call on another line and got message that their office was now closed  and to call back during Pacific time.  I'm on Eastern time and received call at 4:05 P.M. Has to be somfe kind of hoax call.

Keep getting calls from this number.  When you answer they hang up when you call back message says office closed and gives normal business hours.  Tired of these harrassing phone calls.

Caller was talking about a Honda Pilot I had but since sold.  He was Indian and got abusive when I wanted to hang up.  

Warranty for vehicle, lady barely spoke English. When I pressed for more information about her call, she hung up. SCAM

Hung up immediately.  My experience is that this usually means it is a robocall to test whether yours is a working phone number so a human solicitor won't waste time calling a non-working or non-attended number.

I, reluctently, decided to answer this since Waynesville is kind of local... but it was a person who had a very heavy accent and addressed me by name and referenced my 2006 Chevy(which I do own) and somethig about a warranty.  She kept saying hello...hello... so I hung up.

KEEP GETTING THESE CALLS-- I NEVER ANSWER- SEEMS THEY ARE JUST LIKE THE OTHER SCUM, THAT REFUSES TO GET A REAL JOB... SPAMMERS /   THE DO NOT CALL LIST IS A JOKE....

My Ooma voice mail saved a (silent) message from this number. The thing is, people were here at the time the call came in, so the only reason the phone would have sent this directly to voice mail instead of ringing was if it were an anonymous call with blocked out caller ID (as per our Ooma settings) so, even though it seems like a local number from Waynesville, if it were some one we knew and not a telemarketer or scammer, they would surely have left a message instead of nothing.

I received a call from this number today.  They said they were calling regarding our F-250 truck warranty.
